This was my first dealing with iMemories but it won't be the last. The process was simple and easy to follow. The cost was reasonable given that my photos and videos will now last forever. The turnaround time was about two weeks. I was very pleased with the results and will have more photos converted in the future.
You have to order the digital first to be able to order dvd's; you just can't order the dvd's alone. Then after you order and pay for everything, they send you emails saying you have a certain amount of time to download everything before it disappears, or you can pay $5.99 month or $49.99 a year. I don't remember that being part of the agreement. Just be sure to read and clarify everything first. I had 62 videos, that took me all day to download! I guess at the end of the day, I have what I need, but for what I paid, it seemed like a lot of work on my part; which was what I felt like I was paying them for.
I am not very computer savvy so would have appreciated clearer instructions at the beginning on how to deal with the information. The help desk was indeed very helpful!
Best price I found for getting my VHS tapes digitalized. I did this all online and by phone. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

My experience with iMemories has been nothing short of excellent! I'll never forget that night I received the notification my videos were ready for viewing. I stayed up the entire night crying happy tears while watching my daughters first baby steps, 1st birthdays, special family events, and seeing family members who have passed away over the years. Having the ability to relive those precious moments is priceless! I would highly recommend using iMemories!
If I new that after paying all that money to get them digital and then asked to pay a monthly fee forever to keep them I would not have had this company do them.
I had some old VHS tapes of my daughter that were starting to deteriorate. I set them in to I memories in a box they provided. They converted these tapes to files I could download to my computer. I did this a edited the tapes myself. They also offer to edit and copy the tapes to DVD. I couldn't have been more pleased. The process was very user friendly and the cost was a fraction of what other places were charging. I would highly recommend I Memories.
I memories did a great job with with the video tapes considering they were film almost 30 years ago.

I sent 33 old movies in the box that was sent to me. Email telling me it was received, follow up emails with the status, and then an email telling me I could view my movies digitally. When I had a question, I called and the customer service representative was so helpful! Love everything about this company and my experience with their service!
