Process was reasonable in time and the product was done well without editing out dark areas of Super 8 film. We may have some of our photos done later.
I have used iMemories for about 10 years when I sent my parents' Super 8 tapes and have enjoyed watching them even though they are "silent movies." During the pandemic, I began sending my own videos beginning with beta tapes from 1985. I am so happy by daughter and future generations to have our family memories preserved for their enjoyment.
They did what they promised. I was not able to view my tapes before I sent them and many were poorly recorded so some were perfect and others not so good.
I would recommend viewing them first before sending if possible. It's hard to find a VHS player nowadays.
Everything went smooth and easy and very satisfied with the end results.
I'm loving going through and editing for DVD's, it's very time-consuming but fun, I just hope I'm doing it correctly.

Although I must admit to being rather nervous when I sent my slides off to iMemories, I have been very pleased with their communication and service. I made a mistake in my order. I wanted the pictures placed on CDs but I mistakenly opted for the "on line" option. At the age of 79, I guess I am not as computer literate as I thought! I would not hesitate to use this service again.
I am so very thankful to have 60 year old movies (and memories) restored.
It was an easy process on my end, but am sure it took time and lots of talent to restore them.

It took almost a month after sending in my tapes to get them converted. Then it's taken another three or so weeks for the tapes to be sent back. I do not consider this to be a professional way to operate.
One of the best gifts I have ever received from my parents were home movies dating back to 1950. I loved that I could watch myself and my siblings grow up on film. I wanted to provide the same gift to my children so I had all those movies plus my own movies from their youth digitized by iMemories. I now have an everlasting legacy for my children and hopefully they will continue that tradition for generations to come. Thank you to iMemories for the quality work in digitizing my very old and fragile movies that were recorded on every imaginable format. I am extremely happy to know that our family memories have been preserved. I highly recommended iMemories to all who are considering doing the same.

If you have any hesitation, don't. It's easy! All of my videos are now on my phone.
Pretty straight forward. A mailing box is sent, we load the items to be digitalized and off it goes. Their time frame to getting it done is very accurate to what they promise. Just got my originals back in great condition. Film sent was super * and quite old, but they did a good job with it.
Loved, loved, loved seeing my family videos conveniently on line and then to have the ability to share them with family members. Pain free! I would recommend this to anyone who has hung on to their home movies! If they are worth hanging on to, they are worth getting digitized!
