I signed up for service to try imemories. A large box came in the mail, with plastic bags and shipping material. Cost $14 & change. I thought it was a bit much for what I was doing. I used some of the bubble wrap and a smaller box I had to send in a damaged video cassette with broken hi8 tape. Within a week or so I got an email and link to find my digitized video. Great job! Later a new cassette with repaired tape was shipped to my home. Satisfied with service, but I can use my repaired camcorder to view and make special videos. It's a hobby of mine! Thanks guys!

$14.99 is advertised for converting to a DVD. However, AFTER you pay $4-5? For their box (HUGE box) fill it & ship it, you receive an email stating receipt of your memories & then you get the bill. $14.99 to convert plus $9.99 for EACH DVD. & $16.00 for shipping plus tax. Are you kidding? Over $45 for ONE DVD. No editing done; If it's out of focus, etc., you get it back that way. Most of it was not worth watching. It's bait & Switch. Never again.

Having access to memories that had completely left my mind, is just priceless. Thanks to the IMemories I have yet again seen loved ones that are no longer with us and the joy to see them as I remember them, had me crying tears of joy for days. Thank you so much for the care in labeling my memories as they were in the original tapes and for the ease of online sharing and accessing them.

I was leery about sending 8mm movies because they were my only copies. I have a projector, but the age of the film (over 40-50 yrs) had dried a little and become brittle and it wouldn't feed. It started eating it up! So I figured I would take a chance and see if imemories could get it to work, after all it was no good to me at this point. Surprisingly enough they could! I thought it was expensive considering I sent them 23 films, but they got them all to work. I made dvds from them. A customer service rep called me, I was surprised, and asked if I needed any help with the order, considering I ordered 28 dvds which wasn't right. Thank goodness she explained it to me otherwise I would have had 28 dvds of the entire bunch of movies I sent, all out of order, all run together. Glad she called! Thank you! Everything after that went exceptionally well, and they sent all my movies back to me perfectly safe via FedEx. I am very satisfied! I sent them an additional 14 movies in 8mm to process. Again, I thought it was a bit pricey but I also had a lot to process.
