Great! Videos were restored to digital well. I was disappointed not all of them were able to be transferred due to mold.
Everything about the transaction was easy, plenty of good instructions. Pleased with the digital conversion and online availability to view and download. Tapes returned quickly. Only suggestion would be to explain storage purchase options upfront in order to expedite. But exceptional customer service.

IMemories provides a wonderful experience. You just ask for a box, pack it with your media and send it. Then they call you for some details, put your memories online on your account for you to copy with an option to put them up for a month for years. And they send your original media back to you. Not super expensive but easy.
I am so glad I finally had all my tapes converted so I can watch them on my iPad, phone or computer. They go back over 25 years ago and the videos are priceless. I will also be sharing days with family and friends.
I received my digital files but they won't download to the app. I was hoping to save them there and now out of options except to pay for the imemories cloud service.

I loved how fast my old movies were converted to digital! I love the app and was able to share my movies with our family. Audio and video quality is excellent. My originals were returned promptly.
However, last week I received an email that my videos are only available for a few more days. I don't remember reading anything about there being a limited time for viewing and now I don't know if I'm willing to pay extra to keep them. When I paid originally, I assumed I would have unlimited lifetime viewing and I wish they had been more upfront about the amount of time videos are available. I feel like I was deceived, and that makes me hesitant to encourage my friends ans family to use this service.
The digital images from negatives dating back to 1920 are very good. The even digitized my tintypes. I would recommend their service to anyone
Simple, so very fast, and great results. What a relief to have the peace of mind that all those tapes are now preserved. After 25 years of marriage and 2 kids, I was getting really worried that I was going to lose so many of those memories. I love that I have them now!
So many memories we had forgotten the little details. Having I-memories restore them is a wonderful fun family experience for the grandchildren to see their parents as real people. Will be sending in more. It was easy and safe.
After my Mom's death last year, my Dad found several Super 8 rolls of film of childhood memories. These are now wonderfully saved and able to be viewed of my brother/I from abt 1970. My Dad was so thrilled, my kids were amazed and I was able to verify some "blurry" memories from my childhood. These are treasures, once thought lost, but now fully enjoyed and treasured. Thank so much iMemories for saving these blessings of our past.

It was everything I hoped it would be. I am so glad I did this.
I sent our old super 8 movies with fear they could get lost in the mail. All went beautifully. It was done quickly and they were returned in the condition I sent them. I had questions and called the recommended number for great service. There was one movie which was transferred off frame but they gladly redid it at no cost. Great company and great product. I've already downloaded them onto both an external hard drive and my computer choosing not to save on a cloud. (May regret that later)
Can't tell the difference between the original and digitized version.
So exciting to receive my videos. I will be sending more soon.
