I took a risk and mailed my most precious memories to iMemories and they took expert care of them and now I can watch my movies whenever I want by using the app. I can even share some videos with family and friends.
The VHS tapes I sent were very old. IMemories did the best they could and I'm happy with being able to see them online.
My family flipped over seeing our old home videos. I think I might be the favorite child for surprising my family with these.

I enjoyed the experience with IMemories. It was easy to purchase the box for my VHS and HI8 Tapes. I was informed every step of the way with my precious memories.
It was nice to have these memories digitally. The digital quality is poorer than the VHS quality. But not terrible. The shipping cost both ways was extremely high and the service was really slow. Have to wait until the next day after requesting digital download. I would not use this service again. I'll find someone local.
Hi William, Thank you for your feedback. When we do the digital conversion we can often help reduce tracking (gray lines through the picture), audio issues and some other quality problems. Our team will review and research all issues to ensure we get the best capture possible based on the condition and quality of the original recording. We can absolutely look into any quality concerns you have. We do apologize for any delays with the download request. It can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours for the digital file to be moved from our servers to your account. Once that is ready you can download to your device. The process was very simple but the cost of the digitizing is expensive.
I would like to be able to copy and edit the digitized videos.
My children were sooooo excited about these videos. My TV wasn't "smart" so they brought me a new TV so I can watch these at our leisure. I'd never seen videos of my Aunt and Uncle's Texas wedding in 1942. WOW! Guess that was on the reel to reel. I don't recall ever seeing it before. Videos of my High School friends and gatherings; along with videos of my Parents (RIP) playing poolside with my children. What a gift! Thank you for what you do. This is amazing!
