Maybe the tapes were old or some thing. But the quality just didn't seem nearly as good as when I used to connect to my TV to view videos. I don't know how the quality would. It went down being that it is digital. But at least I got it converted.

We have had home movies (old 8mm and VHS) stored online with imemories for many years and I just sent two more large boxes for pictures and videos to be digitized and stored. Yes, it was a little expensive for the digitizing but the monthly access fee is very reasonable and the ability to know our memories are safe and easily accessible is priceless!

It is really nice to have someone else do the labor of scanning all my pictures but some of them had glares in the scan, I guess glossy photos? Others were okay quality and some were great! Kind of a mixed bag... there is no restoration of photos. I guess I was expecting a little better quality for the price.

I had seen so many reviews on this company, so I decided to go ahead and give it a try. I was very happy to see all my videos online. My kids and I had a great night of family time watching them all. There were some videos that came back with no sound, so I am not sure what happened there, but so happy with the overall experience!
