IMemories' directions were clear and they did exactly what I requested with every piece of old technology I sent them. I am very pleased with my decision to choose iMemories for converting my old video tapes. The video quality is outstanding, and the service provided was excellent.
The videos were not as sharp as I hoped they would be. I assume it's because they weren't great, to begin with, but I was hoping for a little lighting and color correction.
Transfer service of old slides was very well done and process was super easy. Very happy. Subsequent email marketing was way, way, way too frequent. And there was no "unsubscribe" button in any of them. Customer service said that's because the emails were "essential." Buying more product (in this case USB sticks) didn't seem essential to me.
Hi Jonathan, Thank you for your feedback. During the 30 days of free online access there are emails that go out with the different options customers have to save their memories. IMemories does not keep customer media stored indefinitely, so we want to ensure our customers are aware of all the options they have to save their media long term.

I received the finished product about a week before the two year anniversary of my mom's death. To see her holding me as a baby… I would have paid a million dollars to see these videos. Highly recommend!
I'm very happy to have my videos from the past. However, it would have been great if they would have been able to edited a bit; a couple are almost scrambled looking; but the videos are old. I also didn't realize that you have to pay for a subscription to iMemories, so that you can continue to view them on your selected screens. I wish I would have put them on DVD, at least then I wouldn't be charged over and over again.
Would I recommend? I'm not planning to use them any more.

You can purchase customized DVDs, USB flash drives or download and save to your computer and devices, which is no charge. We would be happy to go over all of the options with you! Hi Sheryl, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We completely understand your concern with the videos. This is normal. These are standard definition videos that are being viewed on todays high definition equipment. The videos are not going to be as clear and crisp as we have become accustomed to. When we do the digita conversion we can help with quality issues like tracking (static) and jumpiness, but we cannot make color corrections to tapes or add light where it does not exist.
