I was worried about losing the only copy I had of several vhs tapes from the 80's & 90's, but they all were returned to me and my digital copies are online for me to view, edit and share…awesome customer service as well during the process:))

Since I had over 500 slides to convert I wish I would have sent them sorted to make it easier later to make albums. But still a really nice way to keep & share old family photos.

Very pleased with the turnaround time. I was disappointed with the quality of the recordings, because watching the vhs tapes on my player was a lot more clear than the copies made by IMemories. But it will have to do, I guess.
Everything went smoothly in sending and receiving my VHS tapes, and I love the quality of the digital videos.

I converted a couple of VHS tapes to digital. From advertisement it appeared total cost would be $15, but that was just for the box. It was more like $60 or $90 by the time I was done and I had to go online to view. I looked at making flash drives, another $90 or something, a lot of money. Then it turns out I need a subscription to view on line. I'm done with iMemories. I got tricked by the $15 ad. Feels like a rip-off now and I regret being so gullible.
Hi Tim, Thank you for your feedback. We do apologize for any confusion with the process. The Safeship Kit is advertised as a shipping box that can be purchased to send your media into iMemories. There is a Starter Guide inside the Safeship Kit that has great information on the pricing, process and options you have to save your memories. The cloud storage subscription is optional. It is one of the four options customers have to save their memories. We want to make sure all customers are able to save their memories in the way that suits them best. I had a lot of pictures of my son --from birth until he passed and I was able to put them on in a digital format and arrange them in order by age so I can put together a digital book on his life. Thank you!
First conversion was not complete, probably due to old tape problem. I asked if could splice or see if get more of the video. They did and we got the portion we especially wanted to see and hear, a song by my sister who wanted to use it at her funeral.
Everything step was extremely easy. It was very exciting to view videos I hadn't seen in decades. Everything is tagged by date, so you can select exactly what you want to view.

I was surprised at the quality of my old slides and VSH tapes. I am considering sending more tapes, etc to iMemories to preserve digitally.
My mother was so happy to see her memories on the big TV screen. She was also happy to know that her memories would be protected forever. I was nervous to send away such special memories but the imemories team did great at preserving them and keeping them safe.
My first experience with IMemories was good. However there is no unsubscribe button on the marketing emails I get regularly. I Called to be removed and have NOT been removed.
