I was quoted a price that was much more than other services for some of my media. I had to pay to have things sent back. I ended up paying a crazy amount of money and only ended up having one video tape digitized. I have sent other media to other companies and the quality has been just as good for a much better price.

Very happy with the transfer of my films, but feel the monthly subscription is kind of a racket. I've downloaded all the digital films. For the cost, I felt we should have had free access for more than one month. Thanks
I submitted old Super8 and Video8 films. The results for the Super8 were great! However: logging in was a bit weird, as the page freezes on me when logging in, but the direct link to my album worked. The Video8 turned out to be "empty" - guess they did not survive where they were stored. However, I received no message about that and had to get back and forth with customer service a few times to resolve this. I would suggest to make such results more clear, maybe link albums to order confirmation? Or have status infos per line item ordered? I also find the follow-up a bit confusing (i.e., send a second batch now that I learned that the quality of conversion is great, and I actually get all my media back in a way that shows iMemories cares about them). Do I need to order a new box? Can I just send in with whatever box I like?... Coul be more clear, and would make it easier for me to decide to spend more money. Oh right - it's not a cheap service. I believe it's worth it, given the results, but it's not cheap at all! Overall, I am happy and will send more media to convert, but would appreciate a better user experience for their web site.

Many of the video clips I got back from digital tapes I sent in had blocky distortion in them. I complained and iMemories shipped all the tapes back to them at their expense to try converting them again. The results unfortunately largely stayed the same.
I don't know if the issue is with their process or if some of my tapes were damaged in some way.
Either way, customer service was great even if some of the results were not.
The videos they converted were certainly good enough to occasionally take a trip down memory lane.
The video of my grandfather hasn't been seen by my father in more than 20 years at this point. Being able to watch that has made his day.
IMemories makes it easy to ship large amounts of videos. I appreciate the return service. The videos published to the cloud are well organized and good quality. I'm a repeat customer.
Turnaround time is good and customer service will help you with any questions regarding downloading. The quality recordings are not always great, but that could be due to the original tapes submitted to them. I would suggest investing in my memories
I sent off various tapes, slides, and photographs. Everything was converted and accessible to download. It was worth the money to restore precious memories.
I am recommending this to our friends! Sent off all our tapes - super8, old vcr tapes, video tapes, cd tapes- all quickly sent in labeled format online (my daughters having access) - beyond wonderful- my husband and I see it as a gift to them… their childhood and youth- and a gift to us! (All original tapes sent back packages nicely)
Am working on sending all our hard copy photos next.

My Mom had vhs tapes the go back to the 1970s. I was nervous about mailing them to iMemories! If they were lost or damaged, they couldn't be replaced. There was no need to worry. They digitized my tapes and sent back the originals in a short time. They did great!
