IMemories was able to bring 60 year old memories back into focus. We shared films of our wedding and later births of our children with our family at an anniversary party. There were lots of laughs at the cute events and the clothing, hairdos, and more. I would do it again; I was happy to see what was actually on those old home movies stored in a box in the closet. They deserved to be viewed again!

I was very happy with the process and seed. I wished the digitizing had been better but they aren't miracle workers.
The only negative I found was that if you're not a computer whiz, figuring out what to do with the finished product was not intuitive. I needed my daughter to help me out. Perhaps you could put in a step-by-step tutorial.

For the money it cost me, I expected better quality. I thought that they would be enhanced as I know the were very old movies. I also expected that they would be put together to make one big movie and not as individual 30 sec or minute movies. The overall clarity was very disappointing for the money.
Hi Dalael, Thanks for your feedback. IMemories specializes in creating a digital copy of old home movie films, so they can be viewed again with today's technology. They are cleaned and put through a color correction process, to ensure the colors look natural when possible. We can not however add light to where it did not exist originally or correct double exposure issues. We process each item indivdually. A 50' reel of film is about 3-4 minutes of video, as that was the technology at the time. Once the digital conversion is complete you can edit and save them however you choose. I wish more of my tapes were converted. I understand copyright issues but some were taken to the extreme. And my Super 8 weren't converted. But all in all, great service!
