I found 35 8 mm reels in a box after my mom died. They've been sitting in a box for decades. These reels are from 1961-1966. I got them converted to video with iMemories. It's amazing to look back and travel back in time. IMemories was able to restore what we had, and although the quality is understandably poor on many mostly due to the equipment, my family and I can enjoy a look back in time. These were expensive to reproduce, but now that it's done 8 can share with all the family. Priceless.

IMemories was very expensive. They charged me for 2 videos that were not digitally transferred. When I called for a refund, the service provider reluctantly agreed to reimburse me, but I have not received that reimbursement. I feel that I might have gotten a better deal elsewhere, but it is a convenient service, and, for the most part, they do what they say they will do. I did have a little difficulty downloading. They say on the site that it takes minutes, but it can take up to six hours, so be prepared. Downloading your videos is something you have to prepare for. You can't do it on demand.

IMemories customer service is fabulous, with good follow through. They were personally interested in my project to digitize my videos of a lifetime of television segments of my art projects to be archived in the Jundt Art Museum library. Videos were adequately reproduced even though originals were old with static (snow). I would like to have seen more control of the tracking of VHS tapes to remove horizontal streaking and garbled sound. The ability to edit to remove duplicate and unwanted segments is certainly appreciated, though a little cumbersome. Overall very satisfied with the digitizing of about 50 some tapes with dozens of segments, some short, some quite long. I think digitizing by iMemories is very good value.

I needed help. I called and literally everything I needed got taken care of over the phone.

I've sent in over 30 reels and it's been a great experience...I wish I had more to do...just turn on the TV go to the app and there they are. Thank you so much for what ya'll do it was worth it.

We had old film and VHS tapes to convert to DVD's. The process was handled well and the instructions were easy to follow. We received all of our originals back as well.

Inbound call support was awful. Sending in videos and ordering was easy. It's a little disappointing that not all my media could be converted. App was great for viewing.

Someone else's tape was posted to my account. It was labeled correctly but the footage was not mine. It took two weeks of phone calls to get it straightened out.

Easy to send and receive product and love watching family videos with kids.

Unfortunately I didn't read the fine print and didn't realize I would lose access to my digital videos after a certain period of time.

It was fast, easy and affordable! I recommended it to many family members and friends.

I think I was the one that took longer in getting my video over to them because their time frames in delivery was exceptional. Thank you iMemories for bringing back my special day and that i was able to share with my daughters and family

So many things were in my memory from years past. I wanted to be able to share those good times with the older family members. This allowed me to do just that.

I was holding onto these videos for so many years and no longer able to view them on my old camcorder.

I sent old film reels from the 50s, 60s, and 70's that had been baking in my parents attic in Houston for YEARS. Somehow they survived and iMemories was able to help them look as good as they could. I was shocked that most came out very well. I would like the option to not have to buy the shipping box. For instance, I found one more tape that I would love to send but I don't see that option. They want you to buy their shipping and huge box which I don't need.

I am pleased with how quickly my tapes were converted and how special it is to have these keepsakes easily viewable!

All of my old pics are now digital and shared with family. Seems like a monumental task but with iMemories help I was able to complete it in no time.
