I took a chance a few years ago with the makeup line -seen a video showing how great the coverage was but not sure of the feel- so I ordered it- best makeup I have used. The cover rage is great & you actually don't even know you are wearing any.

was offered a birthday promo, with a buy one- get one free promo. The promo code was entered at checkout, yet I was still charged for full price for both items.
I would not have purchased both items, if I knew this would happen. I am a loyal IL Makiage customer and have been for years.
This is very disappointing and I have sent a message through IL Makiages customer service page.
I was very excited to finally purchase the foundation. As I went along my quiz it matched me with a foundation & the redness control primer. I did receive my products within 4 days after ordering. Shipment was quick! However my shade did not quite match. It was close! But not my match. & the redness control primer that I was matched to. Let me just say I am not pleased! I think I paid $54 just for primer. It did absolutely nothing! It felt smooth & silky going on, but even after it was completely absorbed before I put the foundation on. Still did nothing! Didn't cover anything not even at the slightest! I feel the foundation would be good, if I can find my match. But the primer is a big NO! Hate i wasted my $ on it!
I have used Ilmakiage in the past. Decided I wanted to give another try. Nothing wrong with it. I wanted to finished using what I already have. I love the full coverage. Full coverage, yet very light weight. You don't feel like you are wearing foundation at all. What I love about Ilmakiage make-up! Thanks!
I have used several products before and enjoy them. I wanted to try the new (new to me) Brow Mascara but was at a loss as to what colour I needed. Unfortunately all 'real life' brows in the photos appeared dark! Hopefully I picked the right one!
The products are a five star. The only thing that is the downfall which I gave three stars for is the return policy or the cancellation of an order. You have to receive your order before you can return it. I think you should be able to cancel an order right after you purchased it if you'd like.

The message stated that clicking submit would charge my credit card, which I found confusing and misleading. I had to use the browser's back button to exit the page. I hope you're able to improve this experience moving forward.
Foundation is too dark for my skin, it looks dry and doesn't blend nicely, cakes around eyes, and is scented. Even with the wrinkle filler cream, it still looks bad.
I was emailed a BOGO code for my birthday and when placing my order it did not have a option to enter the code before checkout. I contacted customer service and they said I would have the prompt but still couldn't enter it.
I clicked on the button in the email I received from Il Makiage for a birthday offer of buy one get one free plus free shipping. But once I clicked on that button and went into the shopping, that was no longer an option. I tried twice and was never given the option to buy one get one free. This was very disappointing. Makes me not trust this company. Specials are just enticements to get you to buy but are not actually available in reality?
