I had 2 orders placed early September and have been receiving status updates of delivery until October 7, then the notifications stopped. Received a Rate Your Experience like this one mid October and noted on both that I have not received any of the products yet. It's been over 6 weeks by now. I know living in Hawaii might have longer ship times, but I have received previous orders super quick so this didn't make sense. Guess no one reads the reviews? Anyways, thanks to Jordan I am getting a replacement order and hope to receive soon. I will update this once I receive the order replacement.

The first time I tired IL Makiage, my order was marked as delivered, but no I received no product. Emailed customer service and they sent another. The foundation is quite poor, I have since switched to catrice and am enjoying it much more. I had to switch because my replenishment order was "shipped", but again never received it. Reached out to customer service and they refuse to issue a refund because "I have passed the refund date".
I'll be making a fraud claim with my credit card company to receive a chargeback.

It's frustrating and infuriating to have to take a quiz EVERYTIME I order your products. And I hate all the pop ups for the recurring orders. I put on make up every weekday and still don't need to get new makeup every four months!

I had a bad batch of makeup it was clumpy I think the lid wasn't on properly during delivery. But I was given a gift code and I purchased more and it didn't cost me much at all. The customer service was great! They treated me with respect and compassion. It was an overall great experience

They lie and stool your money. For no reason the took 75$ and lie to me know that they charge only for delivery but they lie to and charged my back 75 once and 55 again
Hi Nasrullah! Let me explain what happened -- a pre-authorization was placed on your card (as stated at check-out). Not to worry, this isn't a charge! Pre-authorization is a fraud prevention method used by financial institutions to guarantee the safety of certain transactions. A pre-authorization, or a temporary hold, simply authorizes the card, the funds are still in your account and will not be transferred to us unless you choose to keep the product. We can't refund the preauthorization as the funds were never actually withdrawn from your account, but I can tell you that preauthorization will fall off / disappear (this normally happens within 4 days from the order). You will not be charged for the full price unless you keep the product(s).
So I was recommended the Woke up like this foundation by a friend. What really sold me was how amazing and natural the foundation looks on her, and also the fact that she (as well as others on social media) said that first time customers would get a free makeup brush and "mystery item" (the amazing eyeliner). After placing my order I saw that the brush was added (which was only free if you choose the subscription), but not the eyeliner which was disappointing :/ . But other than that I had no other issues.

I love Il Makiage products, but I really dislike the checkout process when you receive several options of products to add on. I mistakenly hit the yes button; and it immediately added the item to my order and charged me. There was no going back, or even an option to make sure I wanted this item. Please change this or remove the add on products. So annoying….

Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!

Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
