I was worried I wouldn't be able to exchange my product which was my 2nd time ordering, but they surprised me with keeping my old product that was a wrong shade and sending me my previous shade which I liked at no cost and no FUSS along with a gift and an offer for discount on my next order and updated my replenish order for me with my right shade! I previously would recommend them to my friends and family but now I'm totally going to highly recommend them after this! They really help me feel appreciated as a new customer. And treated me like I was VIP.

I really like the "I Woke Up Like This" foundation. Unfortunately, I had trouble getting the right color using the online survey. The first one was too light, and I think a bit off, in undertone. The second one, picked by someone in customer service after sending me some questions via email, was way too dark and also off in undertone. Since I like this foundation so much, I decided to give it one more try on my own and went by the tone of my skin (light), and the color of my undertone (yellow). I just ordered it today with a gift card kindly given to me by Il Makiage for messing up, so I won't know if it's a match for several more days. I really hope it is because this is the nicest foundation I've ever tried. I'm 66 years old and, while I don't have many wrinkles, the ones I do have are starting to become more pronounced so I don't want a foundation that settles in wrinkles. This foundation does not. The only thing I wish was different is I wish there was more information on the colors and undertones of each and also better pictures. The colors were difficult to discern on my computer screen. I also tried the concealer but didn't care as much for that. Those colors were off as well and way too light for me, and it did settle in the wrinkles under my eyes making me look terrible. I give a big thumbs up to the foundation, though, and think it's definitely worth trying if you can get a color match.

The site is easy to use and products come quickly, beautifully packaged and perfect!

I have so much to say. Firstly I purchased a foundation and cover up. Let me just say, I have never experienced such an exact color match as well as a formula that didn't irritate my sensitive skin! I'm never going back to store bought attempts again.
Not to mention the amazing experience with customer support! They were so quick to help me and so kind, definitely solidified my decision to continue with this company! Thank you so much people of II Makiage.

Trying to checkout while making an online order, and the website kept trying to offer additional products at the very last minute, even after I put in my credit card info. I kept saying no, no, skip, no thanks,... but still when I hit the place order button there was a $40+ extra product ordered. So I tried calling the company... nope, no phone number. Logged into my account, couldn't cancel the order. Clicked on "Contact" and had to sent them an email. All of this within 10 minutes of placing the order. Someone responded fairly quickly, to tell me the order had already gone through and couldn't be changed or cancelled. So now I have to wait to receive the extra product and go through the hassle of returning it, to get a refund for something I never ordered. Meanwhile it will be on my credit card for weeks. Very annoying. I like their eyeline, but it's not cheap and not worth this trouble.
