Spent a lot of money and the lid is broken and the lid wont stay closed. Foundation all over the lid. Emailed and no normal answer back. Just want a refund. Thanks.

My experience with IL MAKIAGE has been a good one so far. I have been using this brand as my only makeup source for three years now. Taking the quiz is fun and exciting. I always get well-matched even with different answers. I love the customized and personalized experience. The website is user friendly and the packages come well put together and efficiently. The only qualm I have is that my FIF Concealer seems to have changed. I ordered 14.5 twice and the second time it was visibly different and much lighter than I liked. However, it still worked out. I just questioned the formula.
My experience started well with great assistance on finding the right color that matches your skin tone. It became annoying that I was asked to purchase other items including a brush and other items more than once. I also do not remember being told how long the trial is before they charge me $45 for the make up. Any who that is it.

Be careful when ordering from Canada. The total said $50 but my card was charged for $80 with the exchange. Site should convert amounts.

Trying to navigate this process is much to confusing and frustrating. The constant pop ups of buying more when you're trying to purchase items creats frustrating do overs. It makes me NOT want to do business with you. Effortless shopping and purchasing would be in your better interest to keep shoppers wanting to come back for more purchases. I purchased items from Laura Gellar before purchasing from this site and the process between the two were like night and day. I will be going back for more purchases from Laura Gellar. Not so with you.

I placed an order and some add on was added without my knowledge. After placing the order 2 minutes later contacting the customer service they told me it can't be refunded when i mentioned my account can go negative. Worst experience ever and the product is not even worth the price since u have used it already.

So the make up that I initially ordered was too dark I wanted to send it back but I was out of my trial date to get a refund. Instead they asked me if I like the make up i told them no and informed them of the issues. They told me I could not receive a refund but they can send a better match if I end a blank unfiltered picture. Once I did this they shilpped out my new order! I cant wait top try!
I had checked out to get my foundation #105 and paid for it via PayPal. And as I was hitting another button, it added a primer to my order which I did not want! And was immediately charged on my card. I tried to reach you sending an email within 2 minutes and Now have to wait 72hrs. Until you respond, which inevitably means my order will be sent and I will have to deal with returning it. You make it way too easy for us to make a mistake to add things to orders and I am not happy about that at all. I have been. Ordering from you, I think I have 11 orders so far and I'm feeling you are making it too easy for people to make a mistake to add items to their order especially after they have paid. I'm very upset and may return the entire order and go back to my old foundation. I don't feel safe here any longer. I have a limited budget and now an additional $42 have been taken out of my account - terrible and sad that i will no longer feel safe ordering from you.

Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!

Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
