The company's reputation reflects a mix of strengths and weaknesses. Customers frequently praise the quality of replacement parts and tools, highlighting the effectiveness of repair guides and the eco-friendly approach to packaging. IFixit sent me a damaged product. When I tried to return it. They completely ignored me. It's been a week of me calling and emailing without any response. STAY AWAY.

I repair a lot of cell phones and laptops. The only site I use for tutorials is ifixit.com. They have thousands of guides. You can but parts or tools also. All around the best repair site for any electronic.

I ordered an iPhone 4S Revelation kit for $24. First thing they try to do is scam you for the shipping. My order would have amounted to $34 had I not had a coupon. They promised my package would be here in 30 days. I live a two day drive from their HQ in California, why should it take that long? It has been 36 and still nothing. They sent out a replacement package which I will most likely not see. Bottom line I am so sorry I fell into the trap of believing their fancy reviews on YouTube. This is not a reputable company. I'm glad it was only a $25 lesson and not more.

I bought a part for my mac (a cable). The part "died" 7 months later. The warranty is for 6 months. They replaced it any way free of charge including shipping with no questions asked (overseas). Awesome customer service! They didn't have to honor the outdated warranty but they did.

These people provide an easy to use site with lots of information on ipods, iphones, Macs, and many other products as well as parts and tools for repairing them. The repair tutorials have useful notes and pictures to guide one through the process. Parts prices are good and every time I buy something I also get coupons for $5 off another purchase. Since I buy repair parts frequently, I end up getting free shipping out of this. I have gotten fast, friendly, and very useful support over the phone and via email as well.

"If something of yours is damaged, repairing it yourself is the best way to learn more about the damage and to prevent it from happening in the future. But on the flip side, repairing something by yourself is not advisable might inflict even more damage. A great repair-it-yourself website is iFixit".
