They give you 14 days to try their product for free and pay just shipping. But beware, when you give them your info, you are pretty much agreeing to their contract. From then they will send you their products each month and charge your card automatically. Sorry I can't afford over $200/month for their products! Return is even more of a hassle!
I signed up for the trial promotion of the product, good thing they have this promo, so I can try first and see if it's gonna work for me. Lucky me! It worked and I love it. It lifts my the sagging skin in my face and in weeks I already seen the difference. The nice thing about this is I got to avail a discounted subscription. I highly recommend the product.
I ordered the trial of two products from this company for $6.99 and thought they were ok, for a cheep products. Then I got another eye cream and oil in the mail and, stupidly without checking my credit card, thought that it would only be another $6.99 on my card. I just looked over my statements and they've been charging my credit card $270.00 a month for a sub par oil and an eye cream! I know that they said there was fine print, but I would think that you would have to agree to a specific amount that will be taken from your card every month. I will NEVER fall for anything like this again. I think the product is worth $6.99, not $270.00. And I think they rely on people not reading the fine print so they can keep reeping in the money every month, from people silly like me who are unassuming and naive. I also never received my products last month, so they're not even good at shipping out their crappy products, that I didn't even know I was paying exorbitant amounts for:-(
Buyer be ware!
My wife gave them her credit card details & should have fully read the fine print.
Do not give them your credit card details. It has cost us over $300 Australian for two tiny sample size packs. When my wife rang them today (3/9/18) they said they would give her the product for half the price. We had to have the bank cancel the credit card & reissue it to stop future debits.
Don't get conned- if you think the product is likely to be so good why would actresses & others undergo cosmetic surgery if they could get all they want in a bottle?
Think before you deal with them.
The oil is great! Its all organic. I got this product signing for free trial and i got discounts on my repeat orders. Very helpful especially for my dry skin.
These people are scammers! They kept on taking money out of my credit card. Don't fall in their trap!
Don't go near this company. It is a scam. They word it as though you are receiving a free trial, but this isn't the case at all. They just withdrew $161 out of my account. When I phoned them, they said they were sending another one out! Cancelled straight away. Will just have to bear the cost and move on!
Absolutely scammed into this product, noticed that they kept taking money out of my account. Called them up they said i had 14 days to contact them if not satisfied bastards didnt say that at all. Dont fall into the same trap
This is a scam, please dont order anything, so far no shipment bud all the charges on my credit card. Wait til Im finished with them, I dont like to be cheated.
Dont get FREE TRIAL as they will plunder your credit card initially then monthly until you wake to this scam and cancel your Visa card.
ONLY WAY OUT IS CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD
I ordered the trial just like everyone did and checked our bank account last night and I have been charged $100 is. I am freaking out! I am calling the numbers but no answer! Is it worth writing an email? I don't feel like changing my credit card again as I had to earlier this year! Is it worth calling the bank to stop the payments?
Help please!
Is this product worth it? Is it a scam? I tried calling the Australian phone contact to cancel and has a recording saying it has been wrongly given?
Saw a free trial online of the Idotherapy cream and Argan Oil on Facebook. The advertisement had a write up with Lisa Wilkinson saying she was leaving The Project as she had created this Idotherapy Cream and wanted to focus on skincare and no longer wanted to host a TV show. They had reviews of it by other famous Australian celebrities such as Margot Robbie, Sophie Monk and Sylvia Jeffries saying how wonderful the product is. I thought I would give it a trial and only had to pay shipping fees. I now know that this advertisement is fake and these celebrities have not consented to this.
Product arrived within a week. 2 weeks after receiving the product I was debited from my account $300 and 2 weeks later another $300. I received no emails, invoices or any other communication from the company nor did I ever see the terms or conditions.
I rang the company and cancelled my account. I asked why they are charging me as I only signed for the free trial. They said in the TCs that if I dont contact them within 14 days of receiving the product Ive signed up for a monthly subscription. I said I want to return the products and get a full refund and they said itll cost me to refund and take 6 weeks. What a joke! She said she can refund me a portion of the money approx $100 US and send me a present and can do this within 3-5 business days.
This company is unethical and are scamming people. Do not buy this product. They are taking your money without your consent or knowledge.
Major scam that requires you to call to cancel, otherwise you are automatically put on a $99/month subscription. Ridiculous waste of time. When i called, the call just hung up randomly after their automated message.
Thought I was signing up for free samples, then noticed on the email they sent me that I had allegedly agreed for them to bill me close to $100AU per month on my credit card. This is not what I signed up for. Soon after the product arrived I phoned them to cancel (within the 14 day cancellation period). I was given a choice to return the product (to Malta apparently) or keep the product but pay for it. I decided to just pay for it so I could end my relationship with them asap and put the whole experience behind me. I think I got out of it lightly, as other reviewers below mention being billed hundreds of dollars as they didn't cancel in the required time frame, and they were also unaware of the terms and conditions i. E., that by getting the sample you are agreeing to a monthly subscription and would be billed automatically, which of course was written in the fine print. I think the conduct of this company is deceptive and unethical. I don't care about my wrinkles enough to be treated this way by a company. If their product is as good as they claim, consumers would return to purchase it at their own will. Others might find the cream works but not return to purchase it because they can't afford it. I agree with many others on this forum that this company should be stopped. I will also mention the only reason I followed the link to the "free" sample, was because article showed up in my messanger about Today show host, Lisa Wilkinson quitting channel 7 to focus more on her skincare business. I followed the link to the article which I now realise was probably just an ad for this dodgy skin care business, and I regret ever following the link. Like many other reviews on here, my review is not of the efficacy of the product itself. I will never know as I refuse to do business with such a company. I will also mention the sample of the idrotherapy was tiny, and along with essence of argan I was charged in total $82.00.
Watch how they make there money, (small print) didnt receive email, as mail may have gone to spam.
I Paid $175 what a scam. Wasted my money. No refund offered. These sites should be stopped.
I also subscribed for one free trial but my credit card is being charged $150.00 on 03/04/18 and $150.00 on 04/04/18. This is fraud as the product was supposed to be a free trial and I was only supposed to be charged postage... THEY SHOULD BE DISGUSTED WITH THEMSELVES AND THE PRODUCT IS DREADFUL ANYWAY.
I did not want to buy this product and notised they charged me $144:00 to my credit card today, which i was actually in hospital at 9.00am this morning getting my wisdom teeth removed.! Looks like i need to go to the bank and change my card number. I believe everyone who says these people are scammers and cannot contact them!
