Love how fast the IDme process worked once I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong. I was trying to create the account from my desktop, but I do not have a camera; which made the verification process harder even though I had all my documents attached. If you are using a mobile phone, you need to have a smartphone that has the camera and video chat capabilities I doubt I will ever have to wait on hold for an agent or wonder if my paperwork was received. The online tools are so easy now.
I have utilizing if me for several years, they have alleviated the issue of being recognized for our service. Best thing since sliced bread

Outside of my phone not being of the best technology, the process with ID.me was easy.
I had created an account some years ago to deal with the IRS, but had since lost access to that email account and authenticator app (couple phones ago). Once I emailed them, they got back to me in minutes and was almost immediately on the phone with an extremely helpful customer service rep. I got authenticated and the problem sorted out within minutes. Very helpful and courteous.
