I was forced to wait and an hour to show somebody my IDs. I uploaded the exact same documents. There was absolutely no reason for this. It was a complete waste of my time and company resources.
End result perfect although it took me a little longer than expected. The representative who verified everything was excellent all around, left me with no questions on validity of site and I feel secured.
It took a great deal more time to do a simple quarterly payment because I had to get set up with ID.me. The whole photo verification process felt VERY intrusive. Anyone not tech comfortable is going to hate this whole process. I don't feel there is ANY proof provided that this is safer than using a two-factor verification method. Creepy and now I really do not feel that my data is safe. They even say that if they have a data breech you have to go through "arbitration". Why? If their data is breeched - they should be held responsible and responsive and there should be no "arbitration" on the part of the harmed party! Not happy at all about this. I don't even feel safe doing this review but needed to be said.

It took close to an hour to get through the process with ID.me. It's crazy the process failed to ID me just because my name was not on the phone bill for my cell phones. There has to be better consideration for this. To make matters worse, I had to start scanning not 1 ID but 2, then I had to face-to-face with a live agent. The whole process was a nightmare!

I paid my taxes and I received a letter that my payment was misapplied, so they want me to pay again. I paid 03/30/23 and still hasn't been applied. What can I do?
