It took almost 4 hours to go through this from start to finish. It took much less time to file my taxes. Because of this I firmly believe that the IRS wants to harass honest taxpayers like myself. I never had any problems before this.

The log in process is invasive and if this service was not required for the social security change of address process I would have thought it was a scam trying to steal my identity. Horrified that these tech companies can gather all our personal info in one spot, just wait until they are hacked, just like the credit report agencies and we all have identity theft as a result. You would hope big companies would learn their lessons, I guess not. The website is not even functional, nor does it have all the services the social security agency says are available. Very unhappy with my experience, I would not return, but ID.me is my social security access. Maybe I'll talk to my lawyer
