The process is done in such a way that it's virtually impossible to mess up. I had an account with them already which made the time involved even shorter. I would highly recommend this as the easiest way to have your ID verified.
First i felt I was not able to do it. My first impression was this could be a scam with someone wanting my ID information. I called their customer service and they assured me that this was a secure process and agency. I proceeded to fill out the necessary information. They made it so easy. Step 1, Step 2, Step 3. I got through Step 1 and succeeded on to Step 2. I struggled a bit getting pictures and photos to assure it was me but I finally did it because they kept encouraging me to finish. And I did. I am so glad I stuck with it and they stuck with me to the end. Thank you ID.me
The ID.me process of signing in was able to verify that I was the person who had previously opened an ID.me account, but has thus far given me no way to replace the email account name that I do not remember.
