The ai that is used to verify leaves a lot to be desired it took multiple attempts to verify my drivers license because it said that it couldn't read my license after four times of trying I gave up on the license verification and tried to use the selfie function but had the same issue after the fifth time I was finally able to get verified even though I have had an account with I'd me for a number of years

After several attempts of being rejected each time I submitted my taxes to the IRS, I found out I needed some imformation that was not supplied by IRS. So I turned to ID.me for the answer I needed to file my taxes with the FreeTaxAct for Veterans.
When I registred with ID.me, and created an account, it took less that a half hour to get the answer I needed and resolve my problem. I worked on my taxes for three days before I got an acceptance from IRS, and I was so relieved to get my problem solved. Thank's for all your help.

The face scan took a long time to start and a long time to analyze, but I all worked in the end. Better than going into an office in person.
Although I'm not good with using my phone to do things, ID.me was fine after getting upset with myself when I was unable to upload my photos. After taking a deep breath and saying you can do this, I tried it again and there it was how to upload a photo and when to take picture.
It was easy to use, fast, and secure. I've never had a more stress-free experience with the IRS.
