With tons of info the site "could not verify me". This went on for two days. Finally offered a video chat and with the same info everything was completed.
I really wanted to have a convenient way to check on my information and payments, so this was the best solution. I expected set up to take some time and to be very finnicky on what was uploaded and the quality of any photos. I was COMPLETELY wrong! It was quite easy and very straight forward.
This product/service is garbage. Automated tools don't work. You don't accept VOIP phone numbers? In 2023? Are you kidding me? So only old people can use your service? You owe me several hours of my life back. Unacceptable.
The whole process took like 3 days. First it would say it accepted my documents only to find out 5 hours later that some weren't accepted. I probably have at least 8 emails over a 3 day period going back and forth between accepted and not accepted
After many years being away from any contact electronically with the IRS it was a pleasant surprise to see that the process had improved this much.
I found that this experience was easy to understand and follow.
