It took months to get my account reinstated, and when I tried it I got unspecified errors again. This time I closed the browser and started over, but chose agent verification instead. My experience was very good. All the steps were well explained and the technology worked extremely well and I had not glitches. I used a laptop and my iPhone (to scan my ID). This combination worked extremely well.
They don't communicate, it isn't streamlined, the coordination between ID.me, the IRS, and EFTPS is beyond ridiculous. I lost access to EFTPS for 11 days and got ZERO help from anyone. I submitted tickets.

It is too difficult to set up the ID.me account to receive the Lowe's veteran's discount.I got error messages with no clear explanation about what the problem is or procedures to solve the error. A lot of critical private information is required! How do we know that information is secure! What a poorly written app. I'm closing our Lowe's credit account. Never shop at Lowe's again. If they can't afford the veteran's discount then don't offer it. What a disreputable corporation Lowe's is. They have ruined their reputation with me.
