The use of ID.me for signing up for a discount with a local store was easy and fast. I had apprehensions about using ID.me because of my previous experience with trying to get my veteran's identification card (several years ago and hectic). I never heard of ID.ME before I went to purchase a new vehicle and they said I needed an authorization number to prove I was a military veteran. I'm 78 years old and not real computer literate. I got a couple of messages that there was a code in my e-mail. I found that but don't believe I ever used it? Apparently everything worked because I did get the authorization number. I was totally lost to the point af turning down the discount. My lovely wife told me to keep trying and finely it worked.
Thought I had it done when I first signed up for New Jersey Unemployment turned out 30 days later I found out I did not have it right New Jersey Unemployment people are no help. Still don't know if I have ID me right? Bye-bye thank you.
