I needed easy access for various government sites (social security, IRS, DSS, etc.). IDme made this easy and I can get on these sites quicker and easier now.

My expectation in getting a secure identifier for government access to data was that eventually a unique pin-like identifier would be assigned me. The process at times seemed confusingly cyclical but eventually I understood and felt secure signin occurred.
I found this site to have simplified the process of obtaining my Tax information, easy to use, and provided results within minutes. I'm wondering where have they been all of the years that I spent frustrated because the information was not at all easy to obtain in previous years from the IRS directly on their website. In the past, after I was unable to get this information online from the IRS website, I'd have to figure out which office location would be the right location to visit, then wait on long lines juat to order a copy of my transcript, and have it sent by snail mail that took weeks to arrive.
Thanks to ID.ME I no longer have to wait, I received my information immediately and was able to print it out, save to my computer within minutes.

It was very frustrating trying to log in with IDme. My broker was unsuccessful in trying to help me after 30 minutes. I tried twice and home and finally called and then had to log in through the Social Sec Admin and it still wasn't easy.
It was easy just read all the stuff and follow the directions.
