I was shaking as I have never done a live video before (I am almost 79) and I kept messing up, had the wrong glasses on to read the passport and social security card info. The agents were very patient and kind and suggested I call back when I had the information. I called back and all went well. Thank you.

A bit confusing about requiring you take a picture with your mobile phone when you already have the requested photo(s) in a personal file on your computer. Otherwise, pretty straight forward. Took a bit of time, more than 10 minutes. However, I would recommend ID.me. A suggestion: When you are told to write down a code for you to remember, just copy the code and paste into an email to yourself. Once received transfer the email to an appropriately named folder for quick reference if the code is needed.

It sucked. Has any one there ever heard the teaching term KISS...or "keep it simple stupid" took me four times twice with experts from the veterans administration before it went through.
