How many times do we try to use the same username or password somewhere new only to be told "Not valid, you need 3 special characters, 18 characters or more, 4 numbers, 4 capitals and the rest lower case..." It's so frustrating to have to modify something you can easily remember to many iterations just to work across resources that are accessed often. ID.me allows 1 username, 1 password and you can sign into many govt resources without having to go look up what the username and password is for each. Just one!
After attempting to renew my ID.me credentials through the app on my phone, I decided to use the computer. It couldn't have gone any easier. Was as simple as 1, 2, 3. Would recommend this to anyone needing to verify ID credentials for Gov't work for discounts and special programs for emergency responders.
