First of all the ID.me link to the website was down for me for an entire week. I was sending emails to the support team. Finally after a week Por Shae ID.me Member Support responded for me to send her a screenshot of the link error message. After maybe 4 days the link was up to access because it previously was saying I do not have permission to access this site. While I was on the video call to verify my identity, the representative was kind of anxious and did not have any patience with myself as I was trying to show him my credentials. I was already in a state of panic after being locked out of my Social Security account for 2 weeks. I think ID.me support needs to have better customer service training.

I didn't even hesitate to just right away choose for a person to person facial recognition instead of AI taking my self. It never works. Video call with a real person is the way to go. It took literally 4 seconds and I feel way better about it.
