The site is ok once you're able to figure how to navigate it but it's quite frustrating when having to submit your documents or certain documents and once you've uploaded their site still has no clue as to who you are then your prompted to to a video chat for additional verification which makes no sense. Why offer one way just to be informed you need to do it another way. That's my only issue with the site.

Given all the information to troubleshoot, problem solved reset this and that I got nowhere. Forced over and over to do a video call. Ridiculous.

ID me makes life easier when trying to get information from government agencies
So fast to use the id.me and make a payment easily to access in your account
I'm not a good electronics person and I mean phones included I get overwhelmed when I have to go to different websites and put in information but the ID me process seemed 100% legit the way they explain things and did things made me feel safe
I am not very technologically proficient so trying to understand the directions and how to use either a phone or scanner is hard. It is best to have someone who knows computers or uploading to websites handy to help

The instructions were easy to understand and the whole process was quick.
Didn't know the retailer I was purchasing from offered a veterans discount. ID.me made it quick and easy to verify my status & use the discount toward my purchase.
You need a computer plus cell phone to complete. Plan on carving out at least 4 hours for this cumbersome process. For me it's not worth the money but CA forces you to do this.

All categories can simply be accessed by going to "My wallet" except Medical Provider. There's instructions to go into the shop to enter the screen for Medical provider, but I followed the instructions and the verification screen never showed up. I still have been unable to verify. I emailed support and the same answer was given over and over, despite explaining and sending screen shots that their instructions weren't working. No resolution and no further help given. Why is the Medical provider screen hidden unlike all the others?

I was able to access my info and with my busy schedule time is of the essence
I was trying to use ID.me to log in to the VA.gov. When, I was trying to log in, it asked me to send a copy of my Drivers License so they could verify that I was Alan Ricketts. I was asked to send a copy of my Drivers License. I took a picture of my License and saw that a copy of the License was in the my Gallery. When I clicked on software that said take a picture, it took me to my gallery, however all of the pictures were over 6 months old. It would not let me see any of the recent pictures. I tried several times and it just kept giving me the same problem over and over. I finally gave up for the day.
The next day, I talked with 4 other veterans seeking help. None of them could figure out why I was having this problem. I couple hours later, one of then mentioned trying to use a SCREEN SHOT of my Driver's License. That worked. After taking a Screen Shot, a copy of my Driver's License showed up in my Photo Gallery. Which allowed me to send a copy to the VA for verification.
