Uploading is extremely difficult to the point you have to FaceTime and video call a live agent to verify. Wait time to get an agent varies but still. Images should be good enough and the animation selfie should be good but it had to be continued all the way to connecting with an agent and that's too extreme.
I'm getting $25.00 off my monthly bill with Verizon through ID.me. This is definitely worth the few minutes it takes to set up.

Because I heard mostly that it's not easy to make ID.me specially covid time like my husband experienced it's hard for him to apply for ID me that's why the last 4 months of his claim from EDD didn't go through.
I consider myself an old man. Relying on technology for my whereabouts and keeping track of every day life becoming a hassle. But somehow It was easy for me to create and establish my identity without a hitch..
I created an account today. When I went back in to verify my information my account was suspended. I followed direction to change password. Password was changed but I still could not get into the account because it was still suspended. I contacted Customer Service and was told that it needed to be checked into further and would get back to me. It's been 3 1/2 hrs and still no word.
Required alot of personal information and the reward didn't work for Costco. I don't recommend using this company/ app. It'll pretty much require a full pic of your paystub or nursing license, there's other things but if you're like me, your work id only has a single name. They pretty much gather all your most secure and private information for the possible discount, (in my case) a $20 discount that did not work when I tried to setup my Costco account through the idme steps.
There is a 2fa/mfa setup which, is helpful for privacy but it still seems really risky to upload the required documents.
If they would make the process easier to get your 'reward' /discount, I would consider using the app again since my information is already on it now.
I had to set up an ID Me in order to download some documents. I expected a delay but I had zero issues
New iPhone user not understanding all the ins and outs of operating phone. Because I could take my time; I was able, a surprise to me, to complete id.me program. If I could do this program anyone can especially if you understand your phone.
It took a day and a half to get my IRS account set-up through ID.me. Had a terrible time with the Selfie tool. It took 3 or 4 tries for it to "take". When I logged in for the first time, I got a msg that my log-in info was already being used, so I couldn't advance into the site. I finally had to close out my ID.me account and start over, which was still laborious, frustrating and time-consuming. I also resent having to agree to ID.me terms and conditions, when there is no other option to access my IRS account. Considering the navigation nightmare and issues that arise when using the site, I have little confidence that my personal information is secure.

Email & password please. Then add 2 step verification through a text or phone call. After that choose a document to take a pic of front & back & it must have a pic of you on it. Load both of those please. Then take a selfie video with no glasses, heavy makeup, hair covering any of your face or with anything distracting on or as your background!
ARE YOU GETTING THE PICTURE NOW! My phone would only hold 2 pages open while trying to get the log in, pics of ID loaded, sig n in, video review of my face & add the 6 digit number in 2 step verify.
Any questions why this review is bad. Still am not able to sign in, I quit!
