Wasted time taking pictures, front and back of 2 documents uploading them and then still needing video call to verify. Whats the point of uploading if they are not used? Then to take a survey to tell them it was a big waste of time as I could not get into the NJ dept of Taxation by using the app.
Setting up ID.me was simple, and even somewhat interesting regarding the selfie video. I had never seen anything quite like that. ID.me will greatly simplify access to government agencies.
Problems logging in SSA site. Two-Factor Authentication asking for some type of Pass Code from a Pass List (?) Filed out an ID.me Survey from them today requesting callback.

I believe my experience was easy in regards to ID.ME. As for the site requiring the verification became a little difficult. As of right now I'm trying to verify what the issue is.

The fact that I can use ID.me for reasons to actually verify I am who I say I am, is a tremendous relief. It makes me feel secure when it comes to verification and validation on important websites especially.gov websites.
If you have to use a public computer, the program gets blocked, you can set up an account but the computers will block you opening the program.
It's easier and faster to get access to my account
The process was simple, quick and painless. Wait times were reasonable. Agent was professional, efficient and courteous.
The entire system kept going in circles. Kept referring me back to codes and numbers to ensure I was me. It asked for a password but wouldn't give me a keyboard to type into.

So I have reloaded documents, selfi., this time I use my landline, the verification code came through, I entered, and finished the process. If people need to use a different phone number for the last verification code, please SPECIFIED it!
After providing information and successfully validating their site refused entry with an error and kept sending me back through login. Likely because they use poor methods that don't compensate for Menlo security certificate proxies at government installations, but who knows. Reeks of incompetent programming and a lack of customer care. They have nothing but a rude subgenius chatbot for support and it was worthless as well when encountering registration/login issues.

At first I thought this was a scam because I already had an ID.me account. I did this to update my expired VA ID card but never had any message during this process that I would be receiving an updated card. So I don't know if I was successful in that regard.
