I had trouble with getting verified though the self service and had to go to the video call option. I did not have to wait long for the video call and it was easy and quicker then i thought. After that i was good to go.
As long as you have all your information available it goes pretty smooth very well organized.

You don't have to use this app don't use it specially for Virginia unemployment I believe it put you on a loop so they try not to pay you for your unemployment benefits

I have been using id.me for a few years now and the verification process is very easy and fast not to mention reliable. I added a new email to my account and didn't update it with the social security website. It caused quite a hiccup to me getting in touch with them, but I'd.me worked with me via a couple of video calls and they made the problem disappear in just a few minutes. I trust this company with my information and their service is remarkable.
Took me six hours to navigate registration. Code numbers to my cell phone for authentication of password.
Drive you crazy. It's repetitive and time consuming. Understanding the various methods of registation/verification, i.e Self, Video, Appointment, etc. IS confusing since you don't know what each process means or what is required. REGISTRATION process needs more clarity.
