ID.me was really the only option, unless you want to spend countless hours on overseas calls without a certain outcome.
I had some trouble with legit docs being rejected but realize ID.me are holding a high standard to verify. Eventually it all worked out, but lack of commenting is the only reason I did not give 5 stars.

If you have ever signed into Medicare, Social Security, IRS etc., you will need to update to an ID.me password. It is simple to set up and you only to need to do this once, and then you can update the info on the website or the app on your phone.
