Had to change password. Process was confusing as the explanation was too many steps and what to look for next: text or email and which link to follow. Also, must get tax records for 2years and SS info for 2 years. And verifying your NJ license by phone pix. Many steps!

10 attempts to upload my driver's license using both my android phone and and I-pad. Nothing worked. You cannot simply use your laptop or desktop, you need another device. What should have taken 2-3 minutes took almost an hour. No troubleshooting available when it won't load your picture, just denial after denial. NOT for those who are not tech savvy. It is not at all user friendly, especially for a site cinnected with federal programs that will be used by many. A frustrating experience at best.

It required that I use my smartphone to take photos of two identification documents and upload them. After the uploads ID.me prompted me to get on a video call with a representative. That went smoothly, as well. All in all it was a quick process, which was a pleasant surprise. In this day and age, I'm glad to see such a robust process being used for identity verification.
