Very bad experience trying to get in to pay my irs bill. It has given me the run a round and made me keep getting another pass word. It would not permit me to make my payment after all of that run a round that I had to struggle through.
I made at least six digital photographs of my driver's license, front and back. The system rejected at least 2/3. I am not a professional photographer.

Makes government sign in's quick, easy, and secure. The initial sign up with IDme is also and easy. Straight forward sign up for those with low technology skills [like me].
1. Options given are not defined. Ie: Authenticator App, which I added - I do not understand how to use this.
2. I added two people to my Advance Designation - after summiting, the names were not saved. How do I fix this?
3. On the page: "Authorize Social Security Administration We've verified your identity! " says: you can remove this access at any time by changing your ID dot me account settings. I COULD NOT LOCATE THIS SETTING. I want my information removed.
Not good. ID.me should not be a place for sensitive PII information if there is marketing discount enticements. What is my PII being used for?

At 80 I was a little nervous but the steps are all explained. Take a deep breath and relax before you start and then just follow the steps one by one.
Went very smooth for first time setting up, went back in to make sure that I could get back in.
It 2 days, 3 people, and over 8 hours to get the photos right. They don't tell you if your pics are acceptable or not. Plus no way to update address for if you moved, etc.
