Awful awful company that is basically as brainless as a starfish. I don't understand how you can deny me for not remembering an email address. You have all my personal identifications and you're denying me because of email I can't confirm... an old email is not a personal identification guys. I gave you guys the emails it might be. And if it's not that then you guys gotta figure it out instead of hanging up on me and resetting the video chat every time I get to 0 minutes. Like i don't know why you guy's are so heartless and cruel denying people in need. I'm upset and I'm on the verge of a mental breakdown because I don't know how I'm going to afford any of my bills. You are literally mentally screwing with people who are desperate and you guys make me sick.

If you cannot verify your ID you have to mail in your unemployment forms which is an extra long process. This stuff can be really time sensitive. The website will not accept any documents however. I scanned in a very high quality id image and it says it couldn't be read. I then tried the phone verification and that didn't work either. This website being so poorly run and the software being downright abysmal is literally hurting people. My job closed down for good due to covid, and I've been waiting one year to take my practical test to get a working license because that too closed down to to covid. Disappointing but not surprised seeing as it's associated with the government.

This company has zero respect for disabled people. Even when asked to call me, thru thier bull$#*! online support. They ignored me. I have over 14 hours of on line computer hold to produce evidence all recorded in a video. Their clock that doesn't work. They declared that my state issued i.d.'s were not good.

Id.me is a company charading as supposed assist to the overwhelmed state agencies during this pandemic. This company is more concerned with the marketing of it's "trusted" business partners' products than trying to confirm your identity. You read that right. A consulting company, on paper, trusted by a dozen states in these incredibly vital services to the public, is a marketing firm in disguise. My personal involvement with them has all but ruined my life. I lost my residence, my car, and hope of any resolution to the crisis they contributed to. For 7 weeks and 116 emails I was totally ignored and even enlisting local news investigative teams proved fruitless. They have done nothing but prolong the delays they were hired to address. Their website is a nightmare to navigate. Their claims of 24/7 customer service is 100% fraudulent. They represent an unfortunate new wave of businesses that, by design, either prohibit person to person communication completely or greatly hinder it. This company is a waste of tax payer money and should be prosecuted for general public fraud

Uploaded documents yesterday. Was told the was a 5 hour wait time. So i Got on at 6 o'clock this morning to attempt to prove I me. Was made to wait til 9 o'clock to be told there was something wrong with my documents and I needed to reload them (don't know why I couldn't have been told that at 6am, so I reload and timer pops up with Estimated wait time of another 5 hours. I do recall one of the requirements for unemployment benefits is to be looking for a job and I am not sure how I could be looking for a job if I'm sitting here staring at a screen waiting to verify my identity. Island say one thing if this is any reflection of our government we are screwed.

My request to ID.me is simple. Unlock my account and change my e-mail address. After two weeks, nothing. Every 3 to 4 days I get an e-mail update from ID.me telling me they apologize for not responding that they will contact me soon. Unfortunately, soon never comes. It's sad that this company who is suppose to support the military is more concerned about getting new business to join than to take care of the military members attempting to use their services which currently for me, no service.

This absolutely SUCKS. You submit everything; it fails. You do it again, then it times you out. Then you start again... then you get a f*cking note page stating that now you have to wait for a video callback to verify your docs that you just submitted. And you wait... it says you have to wait for FIVE F*cking hours... then it times out.! Then you have to log in again... and guess what? - you guessed it; the clocks starts over. Are you kidding me?! --- btw, this BS for docs AND videos that I already submitted of my own volition almost a year ago! W T F?! Right now I'm hating ID.me and my stupid state's bull$#*! unemployment office practices... oh yeah, in the interim, you're prevented from getting your payments or filing your weekly. Insert eye-roll; that makes sense to screw people even more. Way to go. Especially considering I was already approved as legit and have been receiving and filing weekly for how long?! #@*%!

I waited for months for my unemployment. None of their verification worked, and none of the provided contacts worked at all. Eventually after MONTHS of complaining, they reached out to me in a very sketchy manner. Turns out the problem was that their social security checker flat out doesn't work and couldn't verify my correct social security this entire time. I didn't have unemployment for months and couldn't contact them for months because of a massive problem on THEIR END. I have medication heart medication i need to buy that relies on my unemployment. Not to mention a few months later a FAKE ID.me tried stealing all my info by pretending to be costumer service. Scammers provide a faster better service then the real company. This service is disgusting and is $#*!ing up lives in multiple states and all ID.me can do is say "not our fault" WHEN IT BLATANTLY IS

They have the absolute WORST verification process from a submission perspective. Their member support service must be minimal AT best. Submitted a request for support over 10 days prior have only elicited an email every 5 days stating: We apologize that it is taking us longer than expected to get to your ticket. Your issue is very important to us and we are working diligently to get caught up and respond in a more timely manner. A Member Support Representative will be reaching out as soon as possible with assistance.

Still, 13 days later, I have yet to reach a representative.

ID.me is a very difficult, if not impossible, cite to navigate. In trying to verify my identity through this website, for Pa PUA purposes, I have been going in circles.

I stayed on my laptop 4 hours waiting for a "trusted" support specialist to help me upload all required proof of identification. I got zero help. Zero results.

I truly believe that Pennsylvania's Department of Labor and Industry does not want to pay everyone who qualifies for pandemic relief because it is understaffed terribly.

It's just a waste of time and energy.

The facial recognition doesn't work, you waste hours, then it kicks you out, and doesn't allow you to restart it and blocks you from verifying. It's a simple app to take photo. But why is it needed? I use all types of apps all day that actually work. This seems to be designed not to work to deny people their hard earned benefits like unemployment insurance. This is a scam and EDD should verify your identity themselves not waste tax payer dollars on broken 3rd person app. I dont feel comfortable giving information to a private company that is so incompetent they can't have an take a picture.

Worst website ever
March 18, 2021

I have been trying to identify myself on this site for almost 2 months and nothing has been resolved. Trying to get in contact with support is a nightmare. I can't believe that this is the best option for Colorado unemployment or anybody else that needs a verification. I wish I could have gave it less than one star.

They service sucks

I don't understand how you are supposed to be a government funded I'd thing or whatever they are but NEVER ANSEER THE PHONE OR EMAILS how in the heck do you supposed to get your stuff straight if they never answer the damn phone! No alternatives to get through and people have been stuck waiting on them and you get nothing unemployment acts as if they care and all they say is unfortunately I'd.me has verify you it's nothing we can do. BS someone can override something especially if you send in the id they tell you too ID.me is a joke and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and thanks $#*!ing scammers for making us go through this

I swear to God I'm thinking about getting a class action lawsuit together against these scammers. They've convinced all of these government agencies to use their "service" that DOES NOT WORK AT ALL and now have our identities sitting on their servers with nothing in return.
I tried and tried and tried to sign up because I have to through Arizona UI. Even though it sends me all of the links to verify who I am through texts to my phone it gets to the end and blocks me by saying my phone number is Not Valid. How can it not be valid ID when you just sent me multiple texts you p. O. s.? I've tried this over 5 times on day 1. Then I tried their "speak face to face over camera" bs. Now, they ask you for even more information than the first time during the "easier process". Dead Ends over and over.
I have a good idea? Let's try signing up using another email. When I did this it only links me to ad after ad of the companies they are working with to provide coupons. It will not at all let me use a different email.
Annoyance level is a 11/10.
I gave up and went to a physical office so I wouldn't have to deal with these jokers. That AZ office gave me a print out of this same process because they aren't seeing anyone in person. I told them what a joke it was. So day 3 I'm now at it again. And again, the same joke it was the first time. Multiple dead ends. I even used a different phone number to send texts to. Also says not valid.
So Monday I will be going back to a physical office, if I have to break down doors so be it.
And no joke, this id.me joke of a company has made me mad enough to consider a class action lawsuit. Even if the lawyers take all the money hopefully this place will be out of business.

THIS IS THE WORST THING TO HUMANITY MAKE YOU WAIT MORE THAN 5HRS FOR THEM TO TELL YOU THE DOCUMENTS ARE WRONG?! Jumping through Hoops

I don't think I would wish this Experience on my worst enemy. Feel like a puppy in a training session. They make you jump through hoops, then say it didn't come through, do it all over again from the beginning. Only our government with you such a site. Good luck and don't let em bring you down.

A phone is required to verify, and many homeless don't have one. What's more, when trying to verify, they say they're going to text you a link to take a selfie video, but the text never arrives, even after asking them to resend several times and waiting over an hour. In short, the service simply doesn't work and is denying vulnerable people crucial help. I can't believe that EDD is actually using this service. It's so bad that it's causing actual urgent harm to the homeless and working poor as we speak.

Not Good

I used ID.me several times in the past and never had any problems. I used it again for CA EDD verification and it didn't verify on the first try. I have a Real ID, passport and birth certificate. My identity has been registered in a national database for decades. That means by default they automatically decline everybody no matter what proof you have. Even uploading a selfie didn't work. I had to do a video call like everybody else and it took 2 hours to link up
