After spending 25 minutes uploading scans of my ID, inputting all kinds of personal data (address, phone, email, birthdate, SSN), confirming 2-factor authentication via text and email, allowing a credit report check, submitting to a biometric scan now they say I must video chat with their live agents to verify 3 more documents. It's frightening that a private company can collect this much personal information about individuals.
THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. ONCE DOCUMENTS ARE UPLOADED YOU WAIT ABOUT AN HOUR TO GET A MESSAGE STATING DOCS DO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS. THIS HAS HAPPEND WITH MANY OF MY FRIENDS. I HAVE NOTHING AGAISNT THE VERIFICATION BUT THE SERVICE PROVIDE IS REDICULUS, WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. DO NOT WAS YOUR TIME, FILE CLAIM ON PAPER.

This whole process is a complete joke, anyone who has gone through it knows, the support staff hasnt the slightest clue about anything so they just send some pre-typed response that is not even relevent no matter what you ask them. Also the whole purpose of it is to a.) prevent homeless people from getting their identity verified, though that is not my situation but i truly sympathize with anyone who is and is supposed to get a id me verification. And b.) to collect as much personal identity documents as possible from you by repeatedly denying the ones you submit but still saving the information and document that they rejected in their database for whatever surely ill favored reason that they want it for.

I have submitted several requests for customer service to look into why my login is temporarily suspended I have waited 30 hours to log back in and it still says temporarily suspended I have gotten no response no email no call to resolve the issue I have made an attempt after attempt to submit request of issues all I want to do is to complete the process and it has been nothing but stress and complete aggravation

After uploading passport page with my picture, SS/TIN, street address, eMail, phone, facial scan!, driver license, & more, ID.me refused to give ID. Warning, may share with credit bureaus, AND Credit bureaus share with whoever pays. This site is use by OUR Gov't (that is 'We the people...') to access their web sites. Now check the WEB for your 'name' & 'town', and see what appears! Yes YOU (or ANY scammer) may have to pay for YOUR sensitive information. Your information is valuable to ID.me and the marketers. Info resides on Cloud. Cloud = Servers (computers) all over the world.

I have been in their waiting room for 2 days trying to get them to take my id on a zoom call. I feel like it is an invasion of privacy to keep someone waiting on camera for that long. Over 15 hours in the waiting room is a ridiculous waste of time! How can this approve by the government? I wouldn't use this service unless I absolutely have to. I would rather wait in a real line and get service at then wait in a virtual line for 2 days and get no service. And I got disconnected several times.

Went to login to my FL unemployment to track a recent unrequested payment and found the Connect page gone and this new Republican Gov. Death Santis stonewall blocking any and all access.
It starts out easy enough: upload pic of your driver's license.
But of course that was never going to be it. There will ALWAYS be a problem with whatever you upload (contrast, file size, random excuses). The main thing they want to do is stonewall you and keep you from making any progress.
After all of your uploads fail for one reason or another, they'll set a time for a video verification and then when that's supposed to happen, they'll find ANOTHER problem with your uploads and then say, We'll email you when we've had time to review your uploads more carefully.
What?!
You can see everything clearly--down to the individual bar codes.
So then you're done.
And the FL unemployment system is done with you.
Just go away and maybe they'll email you... whenever.
And if they do email you and you actually get a video chat, you better have ALL your uploaded docs with you physically in hand whenever and wherever you are so you can AGAIN present the docs over the video chat even though they already have them and can see your face on at least 3 docs AND see your face on the video chat.
It's like a bunch of moronic first graders decided to run a scam ID theft company. And they got IRS and state contracts thru their corrupt Republican political puppets like Ron DeathSantis.
The only thing worse than this is that DeathSantis passed the largest tax hike on Floridians ever with the online purchases tax. This is meant to replenish the unemployment system without asking DeathSantis's business donors to pay their fair share.

Filed for unemployment not understanding why this biometrics have to be part of ID, driver's license and social security number should've been enough I'm not in The into basically being forced to do a biometrics it did not give me the option to skip. ID.me has a Multi verification allegedly for your protection, it was linked to an old cell since it's been a while since I have used the service 3/2021 I forgot my password. Well my password cannot be reset without a code sent to my old cell #. It's now been a month multiple customer service tickets submitted and nothing the one response I got back stated "We are unable to assist you with this problem due to system restrictions". I have asked to close my account nothing. This is disgusting that in ONE MONTH NO HELP FROM ID.me

Id.me has the worst customer support i have ever heard of. It's actually nonexistent. I have been locked out of my account since 9/8/2021. After several emails to their customer support not one thing has happened. Their fix it sites do not fix the problem. Hiring Id.me was the worst decision the State of Florida has ever made. All id.me has accomplished is to make matters worse.

IDME is so stupid. I'm trying to claim unemployment. First, when I put in my claim the unemployment person didn't tell me I need to get an ID me account. Then when I called back it took several tries 2 an ID account set-up. Then I found out that it takes 14 days 2 verify. Then I found out that the labor department send a letter by snail mail letting me know weather my current claim will be honored. My job ended September 24th and today is October 21st. I have another two weeks before I can even certify for the first 2 weeks of my claim. Do they think that my mortgage and car payment will be paid by Magic? This is the slowest and most obfuscated verification system I could imagine. Who designed this stupid system?

When you need to discuss or help with an issue, they provide a "bot" response "A Member Support Representative will be reaching out as soon as possible with assistance."
As of the 22nd of September, that has yet to occur. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has selected a very poor vendor to provide service to the taxpayers as their ability to respond and a customer's ability to speak with a PERSON is nonexistent.

I have been trying to get someone to assist me for weeks now. Every time you send a request someone contact you in 5 days to tell you that someone is going to reach out to help you and guess what nobody will ever contact you. And they don't even have a phone number to contact it. It doesn't matter how serious your request is you will never get help. I wonder why any place use them.
