I'm a new user of ibotta so I'm still learning the way things work. I was having some issues work a receipt I was attempting to upload with a high dollar rebate item on it. I received notice that my request wasn't approved. Thank to the help of Gerald in their customer service department we were able to get the issue fixed and he also took the time to explain how i could avoid running into the same problems in the future.

I bought 2 All detergents and assumed the $2 rebate would apply on both of them as many rebates do but I didn't notice it was only on one. When I contacted Ibotta Help I was thinking they had made a mistake but was told they were correct. Anyway they were very nice and gave me the $2. I am always very happy with Ibotta help

Most of the time they will try and avoid awarding cash back either because they say you got the wrong product due to not being specific in the item listing, or the receipt is blurry, or some other issue. I have had to write customer care multiple times over the years to correct issues.

The Ibotta team provided quick and responsive customer service addressing my issue. They were prompt in correcting my problem.
After switching to a new device, I lost my accumulated earned rewards. It took a few days, but ibotta git everything straightened out and reissued.

Once again, you have not fixed the credits for bonuses. Happens every time you have a purchase 4 or 3 or whatever for eligibility. Your system flags it as one. I spend time doing this nonsense and now have to write a ticket to get the $10. It has been happening for YEARS and you guys never fix it so at this point you must be doing it on purpose. PLEASE FIX.
EVERY receipt that I've submitted in the last few months is read incorrectly and misses cash back. I then have to submit it again. It's annoying, a waste of my time
As an example today, both CLEAR receipts I submitted were wrong. How wrong? ELEVEN DOLLARS WRONG.
I purchased items from Dollar General and it took over 72 hours and multiple emails to get my cash. I bought extra items so I would not lose out on bonus.

Ibotta has really speeded up it's customers issues being resolved. My problem was handled within a day and I deeply appreciate the quick service

Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?

Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?
Answer: Sorry Jenna bit it seems like you're kinda late for that rebate a few years actually. I'm pretty sure that ibotta have 100% absolutely forgot about you and by not I'm sure you forgot about too. :)
Answer: Go to your $amount and cash out and it will say bank or gift card.
Answer: Why don't any product receipts add extra bonus for us?
Answer: You have to email the morons that run their customer support at least 3 times before you'll get the proper amount credited to your account.
