I love getting free money back! WHO DOESN'T LIKE MONEY IN THEIR Pocket? …. It's nice to have extra bucks in my pocket & I didn't have to do much of anything to get it & I love getting fabulous deals on everything that I already use & love & the bonus cash allows me to splurge on myself every once in awhile & not have to be stressed about not having enough money in my bank account when I am handicapped & live on such a very tight fixed income …. It really is easy & they give u money to shop for what u love …. WIN-WIN IN MY BOOK

It's a fun program, pays for what I already buying and to try new stuff. Little bit intimidating at the beginning but easy to use when you learn along the way. It's worth to try.

I liked ibotta at first until i reached 30 $ with theyre minimum deposit being 20 to cash out put all my important information in including my bank account just to not be able to cash out my earnings with this being my first time cashing out i put in a ticket of complaint about the issue and instead they closed my account i dont think a fishing scam like ibotta should be able to continue to lie and manipulate us into giving our information and not holding up theyre end of advertisement
Ps. All i did was submit a request for my payout and this was my only result no response other then my account being deactivated with no explanation of why they closed it

I have really enjoyed saving money on Ibotta. It was a learning experience, and I caught on quickly how to have fun and find where I can build up my bank so I can redeem.

I have used Ibotta for years, at least three. This year I really started to use them alot. I have ran through about 1500. 00 this year in rebates and as the year progressed, the service slacked. I have constantly in the last month had to put in multiple tickets to get things fixed. Last straw was an order with 36 offers, 3 bonuses, etc. They missed 6 offers and 3 bonuses and when I put the ticket in, two days later I am still short all but one of them. The company agrees to pay rebates, but then systematically makes it impossible to get your money. Once or twice is understandable, but 1 out of 6? I did 140 plus offers this months, 1 out of 6 adds up. I will not be using them in the future, because the time and energy to get the company to honor their agreement isn't worth it. BEWARE of this APP.

I joined ibotta 10 days ago, and I've earned $24.50 cashback already. It's easy to figure out and works well most of the time. I've mostly just shopped like I usually do, and then submit the receipts that include a purchase from the offers, but I have noticed that if I invested a little more time into this, that I'd get some items at an extremely reduced price, or even free sometimes. You have to earn $20+ in order to withdraw your earnings to either an eGift card, a bank account, or a PayPal account.

Snap receipts and earn rewards. What could be easier? Also, go here before shopping online to earn extra points and discounts.

A couple of years ago it was great. Now, not so much. Walmart receipts don't work. If you're expecting a big return, you don't get it. Theres always ""a problem "". After shopping for Christmas dinner, I didn't get anything back on the trip I made sure I shopped, a d scan checked the items at the store. It wasn't the first time and it really upsets me. Oh but my. 35 from Aldis went on right away no problem there. Lol

I was skeptical at first about using the app. However, I have found Ibotta very easy to use and have saved over $50 in my first month at Walmart, Publix and Petsmart. Being a vegetarian, I was surprised at how many of the coupons were for plant-based foods. If you are like me, then you will know what a plus this is given the cost of these foods! Also, the Walmart Thanksgiving Free Dinner was wonderful for our family dinner. I would recommend this to everyone!

I love Ibotta. I recieve cash back on item I would already purchase. These even link all your accounts to download your receipts for you. All you do is add the item you will purchase ahead of time and submit your recipes.

[This is a second update to the original review, below.] The combined efforts of Ibotta and their partner's customer service folks are worth a sincere "thank you". They were attentive and thoughtful, going the extra mile to get everything ironed out, and I'm grateful to them.

[This is an update to the original review, below.] Give Ibotta credit for trying. After several back-and-forths and escalation, people with discretion became involved, things were sorted out, and a full rebate was issued. Not exactly a sterling experience, but they've tried to be fair... and to give them the benefit of the doubt, it could be that the Ibotta platform is intended, and works better, for regular repeat purchases than for one-time rebates like my own. I'm raising my rating from one star to three to reflect their efforts and a satisfactory outcome.

[Original review, with some redactions.] My introduction to Ibotta was in the form of a neck tag on a bottle of Kahlua, offering a $40 "cash back" rebate for the purchase of six (6) bottles. Having purchased the same, saved my receipt, brought the Kahlua home and unpacked it (from the gift-box packaging), I went down the Ibotta rabbit hole of installing a phone app, setting up an account and trying to find the process for obtaining a rebate.
News flash: There is none. The offer is not a rebate, and not cash back, and not $40 for six bottles. Instead, it is some sort of earn-credit-by-buying incentive system. Moreover, the offer is not a $40 cash back rebate, but rather $7 unless one purchases multiple brands (and no more than three of a single brand)... Of course, along the way Ibotta obtains as much information as possible about users' identities and buying habits, and no doubt plans to market this information to third parties...
Multiple email exchanges with Ibotta's customer service group shows them to be well-meaning... but ineffective. Their handling has been more or less robotic, and time spent taking and uploading product photos and UPC codes per their requests for supplemental information yielded absolutely nothing apart from the automated, inadequate $7 credit.
I would give Ibotta zero stars, if that were possible...

Signed up with a few sponsors and saw $130 quickly as promised. Gift card redemption was ez. Haven't tried the cash cashout feature yet
