Ibotta is ok. Was way better when I started a couple years ago. Now their product list seems to have change considerably. I would usually get money back when I purchased the tried-and-true products that I've used for years. Now different products (more costly) have taken their place. I can't redeem as many products as before since I don't buy what they have on their list. It's taken me close to 3 months to get to $3.75. They've also changed their site whereas you could find a product right away because the headings were across the top of the page. They eliminated that, so you have to scroll and scroll to find the product you want to check out to see if it's listed. Really not worth the effort. Thinking of calling it quits with this one.

They did away with the feature that you can manually enter the receipt and match your deals. Now, they do it automatically and match your deals for you. They screwed me out of 80% of my offers and won't let you re-enter the receipt. Surprise surprise, they matched 3 offers that were the smallest cash back offers. They didn't match the high dollar purchases though. Total scam.

I've used this site on and off for four years. The app is now amazing. I've tried others but it's not the same. It's now very easy to just shop online and the app does the rest. I Look and I have money! So easy. I'm already a big healthy shopper who buys the same stuff over and over, but I am always looking for new choices. I appreciate the healthy suggestions! If you're already going to buy these items - don't mess with coupons! Get paid for your stuff!

I love Ibotta! Just hit the $250 club! There are so many offers that end up being free,. Plus if you use it with the bonuses, like $10 Weekend Warrior, you make even more money! Never had an issue with items not crediting or anything. On my way to the $500 club!

I have sent 6 emails to deactivate my account after they impose a $3.99 maintenance fee. What a joke,

Wtf is wrong with this app? I made the $50 club and go to withdrawearn8ngs and my account is disabled.

I am not organized nor patient enough to cut coupons, so that's why I think the ibotta app works for my household. I do not even know how ppl work those coupons lol. Ibotta, for the most part, has products on there that I ACTUALLY BUY and I get money back. It is a bit tedious to scan my long receipt, but in the end it's worth it. I do recommend scanning your receipt as soon as you get home, just in case an item you purchased does not show on the app. I would've earned more had I done this more consistently, but I get into organizing mode and start throwing boxes away. The way I see it is it is money I did have and I was not expecting. Good luck shoppers!

They no longer are partnered with Meijer (wish they would bring it back) But Walmart has easy pick up ordering. You need to make sure you have the right quantity and sizes, otherwise don't be afraid to submit a ticket. Very helpful around the holidays to get meals cheaper.

Made my first purchase, which was a larger purchase (1150. 00). Instead of doing the 5% app or 2% gift card amount, they tried to give me. 5%. It was a big waste of time going back and forth with them. You have to dig to find the place to contact them to write a trouble ticket. Then, they said they are going to keep taking monthly fees until the money in the account has run out because there's no way to close the account. These people are scam artists. Turn and run.

I love shopping for the items listed makes me shop for other necessities and it's a great way to earn cash back

The website is terrible for gaining access. Spins for hours, particularly toward the end of a bonus when you are trying to input your receipts and cannot! Once it's too late for the bonus, the website will open... Hmmm.! More about getting you to buy than rewarding the customer.

Very easy to use. I get my cash back thru PayPal.
The special offers are awesome and I love the barcode reader to verify correct product.Im a vegan so lots of yummy things to chose from.

Horrible customer service.
I referred a friend, they used my code (I even got notification that my referral signed up!) she redeemed an offer (I saw the screenshot she sent of her Ibotta account), we did everything correctly and no promised referral bonus. For either of us.
I emailed customer service with all the details and got a copy/paste response of how to get a referral bonus, and I just messaged them that we had done all of that correctly. It's like they didn't even read my message.
Don't expect Ibotta to honor any referrals or other promises.

Signed up with ibotta in November last year to take advantage of the thanksgiving offer of a free meal. Followed all the instructions and linked my walmart account. A refund? Ha ha ha. An email requesting an explanation went unanswered (big surprise). I would avoid these creeps at all costs.

Ibotta is one of the easiest cash back/rebate apps I've found. I've used tons in the past and the innovations that they come up with are the best. Since COVID I use Walmart delivery pretty often. Ibotta let's you click through to do the shopping through the app. That's wonderful for a few reasons... I know what qualifies because it's right beside the item, I can shop from my Ibotta list and I stick to the list/budget shopping online vs in store.
Of course the rebates are on name brand or more expensive items, that's how manufacturer's get you to try their products. That's expected and fine with me, it's easy to decide if the cost is worth the rebate. Their bonuses are great and cashing out is easy too. I usually get my cash back in minutes. It takes extra time but it is absolutely worth it! I'm including a screenshot of my current earnings. I've been a member a little over a year.
