I've been using this service for a couple of years now. Originally it was only accessible on the website. They eventually made an app and made it to where you can add your Walmart log in. My problem with this is it doesn't pick up my Walmart orders and I've sent cs messages with my receipt each time it doesn't pick up the order and they want me to tell them what's in the app for me to get credited for the things on my receipt. It's like they don't know their own app. I've only been credited with one referral the whole time I've had this. It days you can cash out at $10 to gift cards but none of the ones I want are $10, they're all $20 minimum. Even PayPal is $20 minimum to cash out. The referral bonus was $10 but they have since lowered it to $5. I've been trying to log in on the app but it just sits there and wants to load for over 5 minutes. The website has just been going to a white screen for the last week when I try to log in.

If it is true that it delivers cash back and bonuses. I feel happy every time I buy cash and win with Ibotta. Thank you Ibotta for being faithful, many can trust.

This is a great way to earn cash. I use the app to buy the thing I need and get cash back within a few hours after the purchase. I go through the shopping list in the store I'm shopping in and choose the items that I'm actually going to buy. I also earn cash by buying gift cards for places that I frequent such a restaurants. I then use the gift cards to pay the bill. When you earn $20, you can then cash out by having your money transferred to you PayPal account or use it to buy gift cards.

I was so hesitant in ibotta at first. I've have gone any many apps where they just take FOREVER to receive anything in return. With ibotta the money really is there. I have ONLY redeemed gift cards so I can't review the other pay out options accurately.but what I can say is that the gift cards work almost instantly. I can sit at the pump redeem the gift card and by the time I walk in and pay, it works... I really use it for gas money. One thing I wish they would change is when you use a gift card there is no way of you seeing the rest of your balance if you don't use all the money. I have a Walmart g.c. With maybe 4-5 Maybe even 6-7 dollars on it still. But I can't really use is because I don't know the exact amount. And at check out they always ask how much is on the card because it doesn't cover my whole purchase...I also noticed that if a store has a sale going on the ibotta app stops the item from being able to add to your list and says no match found...also if you buy something and it gets registered threw the ibotta app. You then have to RE-ADD The item of you were to purchase it again... it's a lot of going back and forth to make sure the item is on your list each store you go to. I also dislike that some of the bonuses give high numbers of products you have to redeem in short time periods. I rated it 4 stars for those reason. But I do enjoy the app. It is real. It works for me. I seen reviews that aren't so 5 star-ish. And I can agree with some however so far I can't relate to most. If anything changes I'll type a new review lol. I'm also dealing with ibotta care right now and I hope that goes smooth. ( it was an issue of my own... but then also the whole, must buy 2 items things on some of them.that's annoying when you don't read the fine print haha.). Hope this review helps. My life time earnings are 170.96 and I have 45.96 in my account right now available to redeem.

Only issue I've encountered is not ibottas fault, the stores just simply are not stocking enough of the items or not stocking the items at all that Ibotta is featuring many times. Perhaps there's a way to open communication between Ibotta and merchants like Walmart, dollar general, Walgreens etc... Thanks for offering families a way to save and be able to try more products!

Ibotta has been wonderful to be Partnered with. There have been a few bumps in the last Eight years sure, but the Customer Service has been Outstanding :) My extended family is over 50 individuals. I convinced half of them to sign up.
As of May 27,2023 I have made over $3,000 in Rebates. Not bad for buying groceries I would have bought anyway. My rebates have mostly come from Walmart, just imagine if I really shopped :)

Easy to use. Withdrawals are easy. Only receipt app I can stick with. I'm very confident I will keep this app a very long time

Good app if you know how to use it. Sometimes the receipt is hard to scan and have to rescan several times to get offer.

It has good customer service and the bonuses come in handy when achieved. Only issue is that some of the stores don't have the products

They say that you can withdraw your money then when you do the withdrawal they say they are being very careful with your money so contact IBOTTA to get your money. Then you have to go thru this maze of BS to figure out how to get your money, it is impossible to get anything answered or resolved. Customer Support Sucks. Stay away from this site if you value your time.

Every time I have purchased anything online, such as local grocery delivery to my house, the purchases don't register. So I have had to email every time, and go back through all of my purchases to send screenshots of the ones with valid offers. And they used to give the money back without much complaints. But since I've had to do it more, probably 6-7 times by now, they have asked me to send actual photos of the purchased items, a pic from above, below, and the upc. I threw a bit of a fit about that, as I already spend sooo much time I don't have doing things I shouldn't have to do just to get the earnings. And they won't give me the offers if they have expired by the time the email gets to a person who will help me. They tell me I didn't have it selected at the time, and I try and explain it's just that the offer had expired, and I know I had it selected because I am OCD about following the rules VERY carefully by this point... They also won't give the bonuses sometimes, saying it is due to them manually giving points. But that is a lie because sometimes they WILL give me the bonus. I have asked them and they say the Walmart account is connected correctly, and if I make purchases in store all of the purchases register. I have tried all of the various troubleshooting steps, and no change.

I used it many times and had only 41 cents. The pop us says: "Get UP TO xx percent". Read that carefully. In my experience the "Up To" was zero. Also, all kinds of requirements. Receipts, monthly fee, minimum withdrawal of $20. And,,, then just try to cancel it: Instructions don't match the screen. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I consider it a SCAM.
