I've been using ibotta for over a year. I absolutely love it! I've received almost $2,500 cash back so far. Redeeming cash back is easy and fast, whether getting gift cards (literally instantly!) or directly deposited into my checking account. I've never been so impressed with an app. The rare times I've had trouble using the app and have had to reach out to their Customer Care Team, my issues were resolved swiftly and with great care. I have NOTHING bad to say about ibotta. And shout out to Customer Care Team representative 'Jeevelyn'! They were incredibly fast, friendly and solved my issues with ease. Ibotta makes my life better, and I'm grateful for it!
I keep submitting receipts that show the eligible items but when I get cash back I am shorted. I have to wait 1-3 days before they correct the issue.
Ibotta actually give you the money it says it will and the pay-out process couldn't be easier. I've made over 100$ for buying things I already planned to and for trying new things!

Connection to the app is always slow. No matter where I am or the network I'm on. It makes using the app very difficult. The cash back shopping options are limited. Many of the items are not things I buy.
This is the second time my Wal Mart link didn't work and I was missing cash back. Ibotta had a flagged notice this has been a trend so that alleviated some questions knowing it wasn't just me. (Great communication) The chat bot was very user friendly and took me right where I needed to send a help ticket. In just a few days I had my cash back and response from their team (Ralph). I am grateful for a trusting app and easy to navigate system, with fast service. Thank You again!
I love this app. The only fault is it is really time consuming to go through and click every item one at a time. I don't have pets so I obviously don't need those. If I could add the kids and baby as a whole instead of 1 at a time then this app would be 100% PERFECT Just my thoughts.
I had a receipt submission that went through and later came back with receipt not found so $0 on a valid transaction. Contacted Ibotta customer service and Anna took great care of the situation and kept my faith in the company. Thank you very much!
It seems like it's harder to redeem than before. And I've had to jump through hoops to try to get a few cents back! I usually give up. I buy the item, it's on my receipt but Ibotta says it's not. Even when I've scanned the barcode before purchasing to make sure! Before several updates it wasn't like that

Put in a claim for missed credits and bonuses that didn't crossover from Walmart. Even though with higher than usual claims due to a glitch within 48 hrs issue was resolved

Was missing an offer that I was sure scanned in the store. Noticed a few days later. Offer was gone. Ibotta did some research & figured out how to credit me. All the way, kind and friendly. Kept me up to date throughout. Wonderful people.
When I started using Ibotta I thought it was great. Now after using other apps I am not that impressed with Ibotta. I only get any credit if I purchase something off of their list which may or may not contain anything I want or need. There are other apps that give better rewards than Ibotta. If I don't purchase something off of the list on Ibotta I receive no credit. The list of retailers looks expansive, but it actually isn't. I will use another app that not only gives me credit for EVERY receipt I submit but I get extra credits for items that I may buy. I like that Ibotta gives cash but I am don't feel secure giving my banking information to receive the cash credit that I earn. It also takes a long time to get enough cash to bother redeeming.

Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?

Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?
Answer: Sorry Jenna bit it seems like you're kinda late for that rebate a few years actually. I'm pretty sure that ibotta have 100% absolutely forgot about you and by not I'm sure you forgot about too. :)
Answer: Go to your $amount and cash out and it will say bank or gift card.
Answer: Why don't any product receipts add extra bonus for us?
Answer: You have to email the morons that run their customer support at least 3 times before you'll get the proper amount credited to your account.
