Because a friend gave my husband his chair, he is not a priority. His chair will not charge, I paid they're $125.00 fee to have a Tec come out within 3 days. Well no one showed up yet. They might be out Monday. Today is Wendsday. My husband can't even get into the bathroom. I'm calling another company and getting him a new chair from another company. If your thinking about getting a chair from this company, do yourself a favor, keep looking.

Process of getting a new chair, was ok. Chair was delivered. Tried to get service on old chair, got the runaround for over two months. I think the wait time when you call in is ridiculous.
I just want a scooter so I can enjoy lie a little bit better being a paraplegic is hail it this anything that you can do you get me this scooter please do so thank you
Hoveround called me at the perfect moment. I've had 2 serious back injuries. This last one felt like I jammed my tailbone up into my backbone. Anyway I've fallen 8 times since and I'm really tired of falling. Thanks to Hoveround calling I now have a motion test with my primary doctor this next week. He's been my doctor for a few years and he sees me really slow down. This has just got to go good. Thanks Hoveround for helping.
Please don't get a hoverround from these people... they are not into helping the elderly/ disabled. You'll be dead long before you ever see any chair, believe it!!!

It was. So much easier than I thought it was going to be. Your service you provide changes the lives of people who can't get around by walking any longer. I haven't seen my daddy this happy in along time.
These people are amazing. No one made me feel like less of a person for needing mobility help and even went out of their way to help me with scheduling a doctors appointment and my insurance information.
I really like my new chair. The only problem I'm having is the turning. I am not use to a rear turning chair. I'm hitting a lot of things because of the rear of the chair coming around and not being able to see it.
All I want to say is the technician that delivered and demonstrated my chair was completely and totally respectful and his professionalism and patience were next to none. Thank you Maurice.

I'm ok with a walker and cane inside but am pretty much housebound due to not being able to afford a scooter. I wish I'd known these were only for inside. Though I see folks much healthier than I using outdoors. It's very sad when someone has been active and working all their life is put in this position. I'm 66 years old and can't afford to outright buy one of these. Medicare has been a total disappointment in so many ways. This has forced me to become homebound, like it or not.
Very pleased with the chair until I am told that my Honda HR-V will not hold the chair. Although my husband needs the chair he was looking forward to finally being able to see his grandson play soccer. He can not walk that far and I can not push him in a manual wheelchair. This really limits all going to any place that requires walking. If I can get to the door with my car, that pretty much limits all outings. I do not have a bigger car nor can I afford one.
Everything was explained to me. Options were made available. All my questions were answered. I believe the agent I spoke with was Fred. He was very polite and patient.
I Love My New Hoveround. It will be very helpful for my daily projects i have to do. I want to Thank Hoveround for the quality of service you gave me.
I have to cancel my appointment with the lady I spoke with at Hovaround for Monday Sept. 10, I think, at 840AM. I am in a power chair and cannot find an agency or ride to Dr. Coleman's office.
I cannot get into my car right now because of my condition has gotten worse.

My Mom (Helen Marks) got her Hoveround and it is wonderful! I can't tell you how impressed I am with your company. I made a simple phone call to inquire about the chair; I was told that Hoveround would take care of Medicare and her Blue Cross supplemental insurance. Literally the only thing we had to do was wait for it to be delivered. The delivery person was excellent, kind and patient. Thank you so much for everything!

Professional and efficient service I don't know what else you guys want me to say. I have spoken to two women who were reps and they were fine.
Answer: Some seem to be getting the equipment supplier mixed up with Medicare. Medicare has theirs own agenda (deny! Deny! Deny!), like most insurance co. Who don't want to pay out. Power wheelchair and scooter companies just do what they can. If a doctor prescribes and Medicare accepts/denies, its not the companies' fault. The doctor is valued to do his duty the best he can and Medicare supposed to do right by the benefiticary. I don't know. Seems a lot of blame is possible, not just with one side of it.

Answer: Yes, if doctor can prove medically necessary. Doctor must make file notes to support and you must have an office visit that only addresses the need for your chair.
