Ordered a BLUE hoverboard on 9/22 and the site said it shipped out on 9/26. We were hoping it would be in by 10/1 for our son's birthday but it never arrived. After numerous phone calls (in which we never got to speak to anyone but a machine), and several e-mails trying to reach the company, we were getting very frustrated. We tried tracking the board with the tracking number, but each time it just said invalid tracking number. Finally after the forth e-mail, we got a response saying the board had just been shipped (this was TWO WEEKS after it was supposed to have originally been shipped). Took another week after that to get the board and then it was the wrong color! Ordered blue and got black. Not happy with this site at all. Prices are good but service is absolutely terrible. Would not recommend!
Love this company excellent with their shipment great board. My son was so happy with it that his brothers want one now so I will be back to order again great price, product, shipment, and customer service for sure. I recommend you shop here
This is my second review of this product because I would like to give an update. Now that we have had the hoverboard for over a month I would give it one star. Don't get me wrong it runs great. My son has a blast riding it. As I said in my first review, he got black instead of gold to start. Now add to that the fact that the plastic is not durable. It has cracked in quite a few places and doesn't look very good. My poor kid has been trying to hot glue, crazy glue, you name it, with no success. So if you want to spend $200 just for the ride and don't care when you get it or how it looks then I guess, go for it.
Ordered black hoverboard for my sons birthday with the impression that it would be fast shipping. We also received fed ex tracking # that showed order created but not shipped for 3 weeks. After multiple attempts to contact company we received an email from Jay who advised that shipping was delayed due to high demand. When it finally arrived 4 weeks later it was damaged with obvious signs of heavy use. It was missing a bumper, scratched all over, the battery didn't charge and obviously was not in NEW condition. We have been emailing and calling for the past week with zero response. What a disappointment.
Overall good service. Ordered a hoverboard with speakers but they accidentally sent the wrong one. Contacted the company and they refunded the difference. I liked how they contacted me to verify my purchase. The hoverboard I got appears to be good quality no problems yet.
I ordered for my daughter for her birthday. They called to confirm shipping address, made the tracking label & that's it. This Friday 10/07/2016 will be 2 weeks since the label was made. I have called & e-mailed many times with no response. DO NOT WASTE your time or money with this company. Wish I would have read these reviews before I ordered.
I ordered from this company a few weeks ago. It's say 3-4 day shipping and nothing. I've called and can't talk to anyone. I've emailed and no response. I ordered for my mother who is purchasing this for her granddaughter and haven't received a tracking number or nothing. I'm highly pissed and better hear something soon from this bs company.
I have tried to contact them on numerous occasions and there is no answer or no one is ever around to answer the phone. I sent an email and no response the sad thing is when I ordered my board I informed them it was a birthday present. Still no board and no response. I think this company is a scam as well.
My youngest son tried a hoverboard during our vacation oversees and kept saying he wants one. His brother found the great deal on hoverboarder.com and I gave it a try also because I could use paypal as a payment option. The site said 3-4 days to get it. We got the tracking number from FedEx, but nothing was changing - only the label was created. The promised day of delivery came and went - first disappointment. I contacted them by email (no answer or call back by phone) and they said it would be shipped the next day... Nothing changed and the next estimated date for delivery came and went. I contacted them again and this time they said: "if it does not ship out tomorrow... we will send you the hoverboard and refund the money". I was hoping they send it and at the same time hoping they don't;-) They did (we saw some progress on the tracking number) and we were waiting to get our hoverboard. The day came and we got two boxes. I thought: "Hm, I did not know I need to assemble it". Surprise, surprise. We got two instead of one. My oldest son was over himself and he got a great deal from his brother. Could not beat the price... and then get two. They are still the first thing they run to when they come back from school. Thank you.
PS: Please fix the shipping and handling issue - it would help your business a lot.
We ordered a hoverboard from them because of the three day delivery. Although it took longer than three days to get the hoverboard we ordered for our daughter, we did get it. She loves it and now my son wants one so I will be back to order one for him from this site. I just know to order well ahead of time. And hoverboarder.com more than compensated for the late delivery of my daughter's board.
Though there a 1 or two issues with my order, they were very good about it and kept in touch with me. They made sure I always knew what was going on. I recommend buying from them.
Ordered a board a week before. The site says same say shipping. Don't belive it! They never answer the phone and you can't contact them. It took almost two weeks to get the board. Worse company ever!
Against my better judgement we took a chance on this site and ordered a board on 8/29/2016. It was supposed to be for a 9 year old's birthday present. Maybe we didnt conduct enough research because not only I am just recently seeing negative posts but we all seem to have similar experiences with this crap of a company. Seems we all got deliveries pretty recently too.
I was just about to reach out to officials to get my money back when FedEx delivered it today. I have been around the world in back with emails to this Jay person trying to get simple status updates. He snatched payment from my account the second I hit submit. We are clearly beyond the delivery date his site boasts about. I was given an invalid FedEx #. I was emailed numerous times with apologies and excuses... and I was NEVER able to get anyone on the phone. (I can recite the message by heart).
I am charging this thing as I socially vent. It better work or I will be posting again. This is not the way to do business.
We received our order fairly quickly - within 4 business days. The order was supposed to come with a carry case but it didn't come with one. We contacted customer service by email, and we had the case shipped. My son is very satisfied with his new hoverboard!
So, I placed an order on Hoverboarder to request a hoverboard for my son's Birthday. I did receive a product but it did not work nor did it include all of the required equipment. I reached out to the customer service number and email on my order and was instructed to send the item back and a replacement would be sent. I sent the replacement back and was emailed and told a replacement would be shipped out on August 24,2016. It is now September 8,2016 and I have called several times and emailed several times requesting an update on my replacement only to be ignored. I am feeling like I was scammed now and my son still has not received his birthday present also.

Answer: Usually hoverboards are quite safe, so long as you follow the instructions in the owner's manual and proceed with caution. Once you've learned how to ride a hoverboard, you'll have no problems. If you're concerned about the quality of a hoverboard you've purchased, you may want to upgrade your battery to UL2271 or UL2272 specs. Answer: You will not receive anything from this company because its a scam. The address doesn't even exist, its an empty lot. Check on the google maps, street view. I confirmed the empty lot when I called the Miami Police Dept and the city of Miami business authority... There are over 80 complaints at the BBB this month alone about this fraudulent company. His name is Jimmy Temkin and he is doing business under many other company names using the same address that does not exist. FIle a complaint with your bank and cancel any cards u gave them so they don't charge it again
