I bought a blue hoverboard fro my daughter as a christmas gift, not only did the box it was shipped in look like it fell off the back of a truck but once i opened the shipping box i found that the actual box had a huge hole in it like it was stabbed by the forklift and the hoverboard was white not blue like I had ordered. I took photos and attached them to the email I sent off (you have a better change of hitting the lottery weekly then getting someone to answer the phone during there business hours) I received a Fed Ex shipping label and r5eturned the product with the promise that a new one would be sent out in 24-48 hours. Needless to say they have there product back and my money and I still don't have my hoverboard. I sent it back 3 weeks ago and have fired off 3 emails and yet to get a response. If your thinking about buying ANYTHING from this business DON'T. You are better off paying more and getting a decent product from a reputable company. Lesson Learned.
This definitely a scam & the website needs shut down. They charged us for 3 hoverboards when we ordered 1 & the number is a recording & they do NOT respond to any emails!
I placed my order 11/23/16 but realized I purchased the wrong board. I have emailed and called every day with no response. When I try to track my order on their website it shows no order. But I have a confirmation number and they charged my credit card. I should have read the reviews before I placed my order. Now I need to dispute the charge on my credit card. I agree with other post. This is criminal.
I ordered a hover board on Monday Nov 28th. Only received an invoice with order number. They do not answer phones and one reply from an email I received provided a link which also didn't work and said access denied. Try searching my order number on their website and shows nothing! I called my credit card company disputing the charge and they are giving me temporary credit while they investigate. What a joke, now I have to wait for that money back and try to find another hover board to hopefully be delivered by Christmas! This site should be shut down!
I ordered and paid for a board on 11/14. Finally got a tracking number. Called Fed. Express tracking... they said it was only a label number, but they had not been contacted to ship. My son's birthday is in 10 days and can't get any response from anyone at this place? I am beyond frustrated and I was so excited to give my son something he's been asking for - for over a year... and Now that I was actually able to purchase it, I have to deal with this? Unbelievable. This is criminal.
Ordered 2 hover boards on November 17,2016, received 2 separate emails on Friday November 25th stating that the boards had "shipped". But in the body of the email it states that it may take FedEx 204 business days before FedEx picks up your order and updates in the FedEx system. Nothing has changed since, the hoverboarder.com site says the have shipped but FedEx site only states only that the label has been created. I have left messages and sent emails but no reply from either. I am giving 24 hours more and then calling the credit card company to get them involved. Good luck if you order from hoverboarder.com!
I ordered 2 boards on 11/10, called 20 times left numerous messages with no reply, sent a dozen emails and eventually got a generic response about delays in shipping. Got an email stating order was complete on 11/25 and I'd get tracking number 'shortly'... never got it. Called my bank and disputed charge and bank refunded my money today. Please call your bank to dispute charge otherwise you may never receive the hover board or if you do it will either be wrong color or worse yet not work. Then what? Wait another month to receive a replacement?
I also placed an order for 2 hoverboards on 11/15/16 and have heard nothing. I got an email on 11/25/16 saying my order has been completed and i will get an email with tracking email withen 2-3 days. Still nothing! Ive called and emailed amd no response. This is a scam! Im disputing it with my bank to get my $400 back. This is aweful!
I'm getting really scared that I'm not going to get what I ordered. This is a Christmas gift for my son and he has his heart set on a gold one. I selected a gold one, but when I received my confirmation the invoice said black. I called the company multiple times a day for a week and emailed their "customer service" several times, but zero response. Then yesterday I received an email that my "black" hover board had shipped without any regard to my concerns. This company is total garbage!
ORDERED FROM THEM ON OCT 27TH AND HAVE YET TO GET ANY INFORMATION AS TO WHERE IT IS, NO TRACKING, NO SHIPPING INFO AND WON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. REPORTED TO BBB, ATTORNEY GENERAL OF FLORIDA AND FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION FRAUD HOTLINE AND CONTACTED MY BANK AND THEY ADVISED ME TO CHANGE MY DEBIT CARD BECAUSE ONE REVIEW, THEY CHARGED THEM TWICE AND DIDN'T GET THEIR STUFF. THIS COMPANY SUCKS
I placed my order on 11/06/16, and received an email confirmation. Website says 3-5 working days to ship, after week I thought maybe they are really busy. After 2 weeks I started to worry. I called and emailed and no response. Really started to freak out, especially after reading reviews. Finally, on the 21st I received an email stating my order was complete and would ship shortly. Next day I received another email with a tracking number that was no good or at least not in FedEx system. Finally after still thinking I was scammed, my daughters hoverboard arrived yesterday 11/29/16. In the wrong color but at this point I'm just glad I received it! Still not sure what's the deal with this company but definitely learned my lesson. I will do research before ordering from unfamiliar sources. Good luck to all of you still waiting!
I ordered my hoverbord on the 11-11-16 and 2 weeks later I didn't get an email so I got worried and tried contacting the company I didn't get a response so I looked up some reviews and was terrified that I got scamed! I sent out an email and after 2 days of sending it I called my bank and told them I wanted my money back and wanted to cancel the order. They were able to get me my money back the same day! 2 weeks later the hoverbord company responds to my email saying "what is your order number so we can look up your package" I gave them my order number and told them I will no longer be needing their services. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THIS COMPANY IS UNPROFESSIONAL! They do not make you feel secure and I called all day long with no answer! What kind of company doesn't answer the phone?! And reading reviews about how the bords came in the wrong color, late or broken I had enough! I spend my hard earned money and I want what I pay for and if they can't provide that for me then I will gladly take my business and money else where! I was extremely pissed off but Thank God I have a great Bank who had my back on this! I do not recommend buying from this site because it's a Scam and you will not get what you paid for. And now that I have cancelled my order they are still sending out the Bord but I will be sending it right back to them.
I ordered my hover boards on 11-15 and still nothing! After calling 100 times and got no response I have become scared! After reviewing the reviews I'm really scared! This is horrible! I just want my boards for my children's Christmas gifts. They had no problem taking my money the same day I purchased them but they sure can't deliver in a reasonable time frame. Can someone give me the number to the Atterneys generals office in Florida? This place is a scam and needs to be shut down!
Ordered my son's Hoverboard two weeks ago and I'm still waiting on an email notifying me as to when I'm going to get the Hoverboard... several emails and phone calls later and still no response back from this company. I understand the delay in shipping and to be fair their website warned me of a delay but this company won't answer a email or call back and it's making me nervous it's a scam! Just want me son's Hoverboard! Or at least reassurance it's on the way!
Haven't been able to contact them and I have called multiple times a day everyday... don't do business with these scammers!
They won't answer the phone, emails or return your calls... but it did come, 2 weeks late... wrong color... but at least I'm not out $200...
I ordered a 8' monster hoverboard 399.99 plus extended warranty 69.99 on 10/30/16 I received a 6.5 classic hoverboard value on site for 199.99 on 11/15/16 I have called and email since 11/16/16 still no response I recently contacted my cc company and filed a dispute on all charges currently waiting on outcome cc company says it can take up to 60days and all I want is the difference or send me what I paid for never experienced this with any online company/business lesson learned always review reviews before ordering from any online company because if I would have looked at reviews before purchasing I wouldn't be in this situation hope this helps
Ordered a board 11/03/2016... still have not received it and can't get a response from the company
Has anyone ever received a board from here that works properly or is on time? I ordered a board Oct. 20th and finally received it the day before thanksgiving after a number of attempts to contact customer support. Their phone does not work and there was no response via email with the exception of a fed ex tracking number that did NOT leave their facility till 2 weeks later. When I finally received it it did not work. I called Glidecraft (which is the product they sell) and they told me they can't do anything about it because Hoverboarder is a different company that purchases from them. So they are sending me calibration instructions to try to get it to work. If your going to buy a board then go through Glidecraft as they actually return calls a week later. I would jump on any class action suit to bring against Hoverboarder as companies like this should NOT be in business. If anyone has a real corporate number please post it.
I got ripped off also. Paid 399.00 for monster hover board four weeks ago and still have not gotten it. Emailed them and called them. No response as of yet

Once you've learned how to ride a hoverboard, you'll have no problems. If you're concerned about the quality of a hoverboard you've purchased, you may want to upgrade your battery to UL2271 or UL2272 specs. Answer: You will not receive anything from this company because its a scam. The address doesn't even exist, its an empty lot. Check on the google maps, street view. I confirmed the empty lot when I called the Miami Police Dept and the city of Miami business authority... There are over 80 complaints at the BBB this month alone about this fraudulent company. His name is Jimmy Temkin and he is doing business under many other company names using the same address that does not exist. FIle a complaint with your bank and cancel any cards u gave them so they don't charge it again
