Houzz presents ArcDesign on the site in a very professional way that raises client interest and reach for our services. Also, the reps are very helpful in answering questions and assisting in understanding and utilizing the many services they provide.
HOUZZ has been a great partner to work with in promoting our interior design firm. Fifty percent of our referrals now come through Houzz. Their platform helps us decide which projects are a good fit and which are not. They are a very valuable asset for us. We also like the Ideabooks we can create to help clients see inspiration photos.

Defective chair on an expensive dining set. Continually called/emailed this company with no response back for 3 months. Then they told us to contact the manufacturer of the chair unwilling to stand behind the product they sell or a customers purchase.
We have had a few reps during our time with houzz but Emily Draper our current client success manager has made all the difference in the world! She goes way beyond the call of duty! The main reason we stayed the last couple years because she has knocked it out of the park... she has given the attention we needed to get the leads we are experiencing now. Emily offered to re-worked our website... it looks great and the phone is ring off the hook. If it was not for Emily we would not be a houzz pro customer anymore however with the personal touch she gives to us and the concern for our success we are staying with the program!
Houzz has brought us so much business! It is such an organized system and if we ever have questions about something Emily is ALWAYS there to help! 10/10 recommend using Houzz!

I ordered a couple of patio chairs in June 2020. The chairs were delivered some weeks later. One of the chairs had a joiner defect. After a month or so Houzz sent a replacement. It was the wrong color. Complaining and another month or so passed and nothing been done to rectify the matter. So I complained to my credit card company who removed the charge and subsequently re-applied it after Houzz claimed the chairs had been delivered in good shape. Now they say they cannot help me for 90 days since I contacted the credit card company. 8 months to get an order right (if they ever follow up in January which I doubt)! Unconscionable!
Houzz has been a valuable partner in our marketing plan. We have an established, long term relationship with the company and find that the platform they provide helps us reach our customers (and potential customers) with up-to-date product photos. This platform allows potential customers to contact us directly but also provides the tools for us to set parameters for generated leads. I appreciate the regular tele-meeting reviews with Haley Hinman who keeps me abreast of any new features Houzz launches and shows a genuine interest in helping our profile succeed.
I like working with Dan Davidson. He is really helpful and informative. Our company uses the Houzz Profile as a portfolio which is very convenient. No more carrying books and photos. The platform has so many platforms that can help you run and manage your business. We love it.
Houzz has been great to use for advertising to generate new leads and business in this time of COVID. I have used it for years as a place to have my portfolio and client reviews on display for possible clients to check me out. I don't use most of their project management tools that they have developed because I have been doing this for a long time before Houzz even existed but if I was just starting out and never worked for architects or designers before, I would probably find it helpful.
I enjoy working with Harold Carter because he displays an earnest interest of insuring my success. He is easy to talk with, always sounds upbeat and asks the right questions intended to keep me moving forward. I would be lost and my business would become stale without his help.

Hi! I signed up for the Houzz program and I've been using this service for almost 1,5 years. My business grows a lot because the quality of clients here is much better than in other platforms. Also I want to say that Houzz provides very good support team which can talk with you and check every month if your account is in a good state and everything goes correctly and how to attract even more clients. Highly recommend!

As a longtime Houzz user and recent convert to Pro+, I've been very pleased with the level of service offered by our Pro representative, Brooke Willis. Regular calls (2x/month) keep me apprised of how effective our advertising is, as well as tips on how to make our profile more effective in reaching potential customers.
The service is certainly not inexpensive, but good investments rarely are. Strongly recommend!
I am a Houzz Pro user and I love it! I get great leads and superb customer service. Other than my website, Houzz is the only form of advertising that I use. It has given me great results.
Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!

Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!
Answer: Steer clear. The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
