If you are bored and looking for extra stress, and enjoy poor customer service, false advertisement and indefinite wait, Houzz is perfect for you and highly recommended. On 7/22/21 purchased Smoothed Aged Copper Panel King Headboard via Houzz online website. Order #: xxxxxxx-4081. Estimate Delivery date: July 31 - Aug 3 via FEDEX. On 7/30/21, Houzz website order history showed this headboard was still not shipped. I called Houzz x3 but was on hold 20-30 minutes each time then the line got disconnected. I made an attempts to via website but auto robot assist provided only auto template information that would be useful only for a person who suffers from hypotension and needs quick blood pressure boost. On 8/2/21 after MULTIPLE attempts (total of 75 minutes waiting), I was finally able to contact a person ("ivan"). "Ivan" was not able to provide any information however sent me a scripted email stating that he will contact me once he receives any information from the "merchant". I sent reply to Ivan informing him that FEDEX tracking states that label was created but the item was never released to FedEx, and asked if this item even exists. NO REPLY. Meanwhile I can't even move forward because Houzz doesn't not allow cancellations after 30 min of purchase. 8/3/21 I sent yet another email and received same scripted reply. But telling me they'd allow me to cancel the order after wasting 2weeks of my time as if they are doing me a favor! Since Houzz does not realize Stone Age no longer, and does not comprehend modern day appropriate customer service and communication, I reached out to BBB. Perhaps BBB may have better luck (?) dealing w/ Stone Age customer service. If not, at least one more review on BBB to save few others from this insanity. No one should spend their hard earned money to be treated like a trash or deal with false advertisement.
Practical, easy to use, aesthetic – all in all, it's all about the Houzz app. Like it. Many beautiful details on a note.

THEY SCAM YOU INTO A 12 MONTH CONTRACT I TRIED CANCELING MY SERVICES BECAUSE THE LEADS ARE A JOKE. I GOT A LEAD FOR WALLPAPER REMOVAL WHEN I PAINT EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR. THE COMMUNICATION IS TERRIBLE THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE AND THE LEADS ARE TERRIBLE YOU WOULD THINK A COMPANY WOULD WANT TO WORK SOMETHING OUT BUT THE ANSWER WAS YOU LOCKED IN 12 MONTHS ITS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE. NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY REP TO LISTEN TO MY RECORDED CONVERSATION TO SEE IF THE SALES PERSON TOLD ME I WAS LOCKED IN 12 MONTHS WHICH I KNOW FOR A FACT HE DIDNT. JUST LOOK AT THE BBB REVIEWS TO SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE THEY HAVE DONE THIS TO IM CANCELING MY CARD AND PUTTING A BLOCK ON HOUZZ STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!
They had what I needed and didn't charge an arm and leg for it. It arrived quickly and I am very satisfied. 10/10 would shop again!

How this company stays in business is beside me. I spent $900 on a faux marble coffee table that not only didn't arrive at all, but after 10 days of them dodging my calls trying to see where my table is, they finally tell me 2 weeks after it was supposed to be delivered that it's lost and now out of stock. What a joke! I told them to either find the table they lost and send it immediately or refund my $900 immediately. This is a ridiculous scam and waste of time and money. I will never order from this joke of a company again!

I barely escaped both having to keep my product and then, as a solution, being charged $25 to return it. Houzz took a month to get the product to me and then said I had only had a month to return it. Only by fighting for free return shipping did I get it. With so many really customer-friendly vendors out there who don't make me feel concerned that I won't be taken care of, why would Houzz choose to be so difficult? Plenty of other vendors sell this product. I know I will never order from them again. Buyer beware!

Worst customer review I have ever seen. I bought a furniture a month ago and there is no one to tell where my furniture is! 0800 number does not have anyone to answer. Text is automated and don't answer your questions. Chat they say you are 2nd in line and no one is there after 36min waiting and emails I tried 2times and they say they will check my case and never come back to answer. I have tried 3 times email different people and is the same, they say they will check and then stop responding. I spent 2,000 dollars in a bed and I can't get info where the bed is or when will be deliver. And there is no one to talk or to communicate! Be careful! Don't buy from this website!

THE SHIPPER ONLY WANTED TO SHIP MON - THUR. THAT DID NOT WORK FOR ME. CREATING A HUGE PROBLEM. I ordered my package in APRIL! It is now the middle of June and i still have not received my order. I have tried contacting them and it will not let me speak to a representative, when i call they say they are only taking written inquiries, and then it hangs up on me. This is ridiculous, i try to talk to a "bot" and it's not help at all and ends the chat. Do not order from them.

Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!

Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!

The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
