Why it happened to us? My girlfriend and I have long wanted to buy a car and worked hard. I trusted a dubious company and was left with nothing in life. I didn't know what to do. The item ordered has not arrive on time. No way to talk to a person. They only accept texts. Tracking of the package doesn't work (the link goes nowhere.)

We signed up for the Pro ultimate program they offered in 2020. They claimed we were getting 99% of the lead coming in from an area of over 2 million. Only 26 leads presented in the year period. So in internet term that is about $150 per click. Horrible waste of money. To add injury to insult they continue to charge me each month even tough I have told them to cancel my subscription. With no response from them and no way to cancel from their system I am left paying for months. Avoid Houzz and predatory companies like them

Buyer beware! I ordered two bathroom vanities from Houzz and both arrived damaged and the finish was very poor quality with pores showing through all over. After contacting them, they only acted as a middleman between myself and the manufacturer, who required that I repackage the vanities in the same packaging or new packaging in the same way they arrived for shipping 3,000 miles away. Impossible! It took a month of correspondence to even get that far. Then they had the gall to offer me a third of the cost and a repair kit, and suggested I sell them to recoup more of my cost. Never will I ever order from them again! Beware!

They sucker you in with design software that is not user friendly and is completely unremarkable so that they can sell you on leads that barely flow for around $400/mo.
Then you find out that they pop up in the twelfth spot on google when people search for a contractor and figure out why the leads barely flow. When you call them on it they go into self defense mode and your onboarding specialist Danielle cancels her meeting with you a few days prior to the meeting date because she is transferring you to someone else only nobody reschedules the meeting with you and it was a long wait in the first place. I signed up for thryv the same week and I have had A TEAM of 5 people partnering with me during on boarding and I can talk to anyone of them. We do weekly virtual meetings and we are hand in hand all the way.
Bottom line is I've gotten enough leads to keep Houzz FOR NOW but between them and THRYV guess who I'll be dumping first?
MYSTIC RIVER BUILDING COMPANY LLC is professional, competent, and reliable for both major and minor building structural repairs. I had a water leakage problem on the roof of my house where two roof ridges/valleys merged. Prior repairs were costly and not successful. Built in 1850, classic molding was an added challenge to the project. Mystic River Building Company has talented craftsmen that are proud of their work and will not settle for anything less than perfection. Workers followed COVID-19 protocol and always donned a mast. Protective barriers for dust and floor during work and daily clean-up minimized inconvenience during the project. Recent record breaking rain and wind storms offered a true test, and Mystic River Building passed with an A+! The outside molding was handcrafted to beautifully match existing trim; plaster work inside was matched and seamlessly joined. (See pictures attached.) WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMENDED.
Would like some info on this order haven't received this order yet any info on when to expect it would be greatly appreciated the tracking number isn't updated

We were redirected to this site mysteriously from the manufacturers web site, what a big problem! Them not only sent the wrong product but denied any responsibility. Their staff are about as helpful as a box of rocks. After a dozen emails and phone calls they reluctantly issued the RGA needed to return and gleefully informed me that the return shipping cost was my problem. If you haven't already guest we are in a dispute over the obnoxious treatment HOUZZ chose to use. BUYER BE WARE!

I'm glad that I've chosen to work with Red Passport, I can't remember any moment when I was dissatisfied, everyone I talked to was very polite and professional. As a result I received citizenship in 8 months.
I bought a recliner and wanted to return it. I rec'd an email saying they didn't want it back. I donated it. Then they wanted it. Tracked it down, sent it back and now they are not refunding my money saying it was damaged but cannot prove it was damaged. They are Horrible. So I paid $3200 and have nothing. Snotty customer service reps too.

Ordered a bamboo rake. Tracking says it's scheduled for delivery on 8/12/21. Now it's 8/21/21. I couldn't find an email link to customer service on their site - all links led me back to the same tracking page.

Ordered a $2000 vanity. Was delivered terribly damaged. Called Houzz and the rep said that they "should" replace it but it would need to be reviewed by the "team". I would hear back shortly. Heard nothing for over a week. I called back and they said that they did not want to replace but would offer a credit to replace. (The quartz countertop was damaged and there was damage to the wooden vanity itself. The box was actually ripped open on the side and "repaired" with cardboard and tape. Exactly where the damage was). I told them I wanted it replaced and they said it would again have to reviewed by the "team" but I would hear back within 24 hours. Have not heard ANYTHING! BUYER BEWARE! Horrible service!

Houzz have the best interior designers. They have best designs for making your house beautiful and price is reasonable.
Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!

Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!

The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
