An older Kitchen bar stool broke and needed a replacement quickly. Looked online at Houzz, found a totally different color and style that I liked, ordered a couple of replacements and they were delivered right to my door in a few days.

Purchased window cover in a large size. I've covered several windows before but this was a different brand. It arrived on time but tube was damaged. No problem because the pattern was not affected. The product was more difficult to work with. The backing is heavy and not easily removed as it's applied. Even with 2 people. There is also an area where the paper appears damaged. It's up and looks good. 2 days now but the color has not yet evened out.
Fluid. The inventory of items was extent and the quality of choices great. Delivery was ahead of time and assembly was simplified. This design does require time and detail on the wood preservation, but it was worth the design.
TERRIBLE COMPANY
Terrible company. DO NOT buy anything from them. You would regret it big time! I rarely write reviews; however, what they made me go through is so shameful, so I want everyone to know. I bought a sectional from them, and after a month, one of the century's biggest earthquakes happened in Turkey. My family and friends were also in the affected area, so I had to move out immediately to go back. This item is one of the biggest purchases, and I had no place to store it - and the return period passed only a week. Companies like CB2 did not even second my request; the moment they heard what happened, they sent someone the next day to pick up my rug, coffee table, and media console and sent me a full refund immediately- and my return period passed almost 2 weeks with them. They were super kind and understanding. BUT HOUZZ! They kept making me call them, their customer service representatives were so rude, and their Supervisors were lying big time! They said it's not them; the supplier is not accepting the return, but I called the supplier directly, and they kept telling me they requested them to help me out, but HOUZZ is rejecting the request. In an event like this, where that money will be used for people in need, where this company stand is so embarrassing. They have no value whatsoever, and I am so regretful of ever doing a transaction with them. You wouldn't want to do business with companies like this. The fact that they made me go through all this process while we were also suffering on the other end is utterly unacceptable. SHAME ON YOU, PEOPLE OF HOUZZ!
We bought a light fixture in December. It wasn't right for us and we contacted Houzz for return instructions. We followed the instructions and sent the item back. After not receiving a refund, we have been calling, gave Houzz a copy of a the returned UPS shipment showing receipt of the item by the sender. Now Houz says they need ore information to find the order. What more can they ask for?
Totally unsatisfied by their lack of customer service and certainly will never use them again.

I joined houzz to increase sales at a very high monthly fee and got 4% customer support, I joined again for 2023 since november 2022 and the support from Shane Larson is 0, he keeps telling me that my profile will be updated and it's 2 month later and all I get is bullsit, he says he will help me go over my settings but its just talk

IF I could have given a negative number I would be a negative infinity and beyond number.All I can say is it is not worth the headache, heartache and money. The lack of satisfaction you get from using this software is tremendous. Google search " Houzz Complaints" to get more details or better yet just sign up with a company like Build Book. They may not have all the pretty pictures in their format but it sure works. The worse experience with Houzz I have ever been through.

She listened and took the time to truly understand our likes and dislikes while coming up with other creative ideas which we really liked and adopted. I ordered furniture through Houzz and it arrived damaged. I immediately sent photos of the damage and requesting refund. Houzz has not arranged for return and has not refunded my payment. I've contacted them daily and each individual I speak to asks me the same questions and promises resolution but nothing happens. My last contact with Houzz I was asked to pay for return shipping in spite of the damaged item. I was refused escalation to management and it is impossible to reach anyone in authority at Houzz. Very disappointing.

I ordered online a vanity which was over $1,000 and during the ordering process was offered a 10 percent discount for first time buyer. At the end of ordering, I assumed they would put the discount on but NO! I called and they said they couldn't help me since that has to be when you order it, not later! THEN, the middle drawer is missing the drawer rollers and some of the wood is dinged! Needless to say, will NOT ORDER from this company again!

Houzz is very unresponsive. They give you the run around of scheduling a meeting with them, but in reality no one reaches out. I tried to cancel my service on November 17 four days later after my subscription, it's December 13 and no one has reached out. My client onboarding specialist, did not assist when asked for help nor reached out on timely manner frame. They tried to charge my account again! This is absolutely ridiculous the amount of representatives I have tried reaching out to and no one seems to know what's going on. I would not recommend!

Houzz provides a platform for me to showcase my design projects and services. I have, however, avoided using features of Houzz Pro other than marketing as I am wary of ceding control of my affairs to big tech. I regret that Houzz Pro Support is exceptionally poor. They have refused, for example, to take down a fake review of my service which details an encounter with a client which never occurred and which violates Houzz's own review Policy. They have accepted a falsified invoice as proof of the encounter. For this reason, I am relieved that I have never used features of Houzz Pro beyond marketing. I was tempted at one stage to avail of their offer to host and design my website. I realise now that to do so would be to cede authority to an entity which knowingly publishes defamatory and libellous reviews. Under these circumstances, their rolling one year contract system is infuriating.
Houzz is the new staple in building our business. They offer all around services from leads to website to design and far beyond. The clientele on Houzz are strategically targeted for exactly what you need.
This site has nothing but folks who will come round but then completely waste your time, while also demanding a large call-out fee.
When you try to review someone who is taking money for nothing, Houzz moderate and remove the review, even though it is truthful and objective. You can't warn other users.

They don't have any support, i cancelled my trial but they charge me with one subscription for 12 months.
I tried to communicate with them, but only i received one email for cancel the subscription and paid for 12 months.
Take care of them they stolen the money for the guys that tried to check the estimate software.
I ordered a dresser, purchase the wrong type of delivery, so we stopped shipment, refused delivery and sent back. The company refused to give me my money back and I still don't have my piece of furniture. This place is a complete scam and I would be very cautious to do business. They said they would issue a refund minus the return shipping, and never did.!

I purchased wallpaper from house obviously they are the middle man. I returned it and got a notification that it was received. I never received a refund. I have written Houzz 3xs and they do not reply. They do not stand behind the items the sale. Run!

Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!

Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!

The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
